First of all have to say I love that movie :D

secound as I see it all you need to be prepared is a lvl 60 character full stop. All the epics we worked alot for are in vain(well it was the fun of getting them), but thinking of tbc it's nothing. Dont you think same?

P.S."wow-europe link and youtube link for TBC intro?(the movie:)) )

Ummm, what movie?

I know, I know... all of the epic gear is worthless in TBC. It's Blizzards way of leveling the playing field. Wiping the slate clean. All it means is that for the time being that people who solo and people that raid will have an opportunity to have the same gear. Once you hit level 70 have no doubts that the distinction will occur again. There will be those that become raid addicts and those that don't. The raiders will have the best gear again. I'm sure it will be a cycle that repeats every year or two unless this one completely flops which I doubt it will.

I don't think it's all in vain. My druid kicks a lot of *** right now, and will continue kicking *** until it gets to 70. Then there shall follow more ***-kicking, and stealing of warriors' jobs. =)

Nah i dont think anyone's under prepaired, honestly we all leveled from 1-60 with a mismash of a few greens/blues/and a purple thrown in for the most part.
Even the people like me who have blue/green items will be able to make it to 70 with ease. Im sure once we hit 70 the same cycle will hit all over again, but im not worried.

I was never all that envious of the people who have the nice purples. I mean they are nice and all, and sure you will be able to kill a lot more creatures at higher levels than I, but im sure i will have just as much fun leveling to 70 as the next guy.

I would be prepared to level to 70 if my character was naked, because I want too so darn much!

Nope. I'd be bored out of my mind if TBC came out and there was no new items to work towards. As it is, the meat of TBC content starts around level 56, so I really doubt they expect players to farm in MC or BWL to get geared for the rest of the content.

I'm going to be going in to TBC with only 1-2 purples on my current main and I'm not worried in the least.

I was preparing from the moment I heard about the expansion, as is the case with other enthusiasts I am sure.

Ditto the above comment. All of the epics in the world aren't going to save someone without a clue how to play.

I was thinking of the "The Burning Crusade Cinematic Intro"wow-europe link and youtube link:)
and yea it's kinda in vain the only real difference is that we are going to do new lvls get shinyer everything some more pvp and smaller raids!:P

P.S I love the warlock hellfire on murlocks; the sheep and the last sentence :))
Also aint the first part looking like Lord of the rings?(voice and music?)

I've heard a lot of people say that's a warlock, but it sure looks like a fire mage hitting them with Blast Wave to me. Not that it matters, but hey.

In fact, I heard something about Warlock fire being green in the expansion. Maybe just a rumor.

I am still doing a few raids and a few battlegrounds, but I am mostly farming gold and just having a good time. I have half epics and half blues from before the 2.0.1 patch, and I feel ready to go in burning crusade.

I am not fooling myself to think that grinding either a Warlord suit or Tier 3 is going to make any difference at all. It won't take long to get better equipment than anything available right now.

I say relax and have a good time doing whatever appeals to you.

I'm still raiding a bit for fun. I have to say I'm happy that I'm going into BC with decent gear. Though those going in with all blues or blues and greens shouldn't worry about it... you'll just get new stuff faster. There are lots of cool new things avaliable in BC...

That being said... 2x HWL daggers ftw :)

I have 1 blue spot (exapt trinkets) thank's to the disband of my ex guild and I will fill it with the warlord part, the rest I will surely take it easier, unless Illusion gets me in:P (one of the best guilds on Skullcrusher). maybe I will take the priest up well see:)

i dunno i kinda think the "You are not prepared" is kinda weak. although it would be hilarious if to "prepare" for Outlands players have to do all those current raids to get the T2+ stuff and that Outlands is hard...that would be funny, I would laugh...really really hard I would laugh.
#20 Dec 20 2006 at 10:03 PM Rating: Decent
2 months back i thought i'd be going into outland with 6 greens and the rest blues....fast forward 2 months I'm going in to Outland with 8 epics and the rest blues its not that hard to get epics and I didn't raid much only fridays and saturdays for about a month and a half, and since 2.0.1 I got 2 PvP epics and next AV weekend I plan on getting 2 more pieces of the set, so in general I'm trying to say PVP and raids get you epics...but i still agree with him I am still not prepared i must be in all epics with all the legendaries currently in the game before I'm fully prepared lol

The horde pvp sets for mages, warlocks, and priests all look the same and all coincidentally have a skull on the headpiece.

'Cause jumping to conclusions is only cool if its on a mat.. and you never actually make the mat.

Then what the hell is the blood elf that appears right after that scene?

I'm fairly certain the Blood Elf is a priest and the big explosion she does is Holy Nova.

Also, that spell appeared to be blastwave to me as well. It could be hellfire, but I always pictured that as searing the warlock as well.

And Wondy, you're wasting your time being prepared. We all know married people don't have sex. Smiley: grin

Huh, there's already a human mage wouldn't it make more sense for that to be an undead warlock (just like in the wow intro) instead of having 2 mages in the video ?

I like the reset in items. Allows me to switch my main without being too far behind on the rest. Of course in the meanwhile I'm doing my best to farm those last blues from instances like LBRS to get me maxed out on blue gear before jumping through the dark portal.

In the meantime I'm still occasionally upgrading my Tier2 equiv priest when the right loot drops, since I still wanna see as much Naxx bosses down as possible before TBC is here. 5 down right now (with C'Thun still standing however :( ) Would be nice if we could take 2-3 more down before the race to 70 starts.

The two people that decided on shaman are a little annoyed, as they can't really do anything effective to their character right now. When we start the 60-70 grind, they will have to start their 1-60 grind. Must be kinda like how I felt with the beta. It's not as fun if you know it's all in vain.
