Hi Droa! I'm new here btw, so hi to everyone else too!
I'm new to WoW as well. Started playing WoW about a week ago.
A few days back, I took a peak at Joanas 1-60 horde video level guide in 4 days and 20 hours.
Apparently there's no big secret to leveling I figured. All I do is open a few windows in Internet Explorer, type in questkeep.com in all the windows, run the game, grab a ton of quests and do a search for all the quests and start the slaying. Once you're done with about 5-10 quests, turn them in and repeat. Also I recommend downloading the following Add-ons which can be found on most WoW UI sites: Titan Panel (for fun and realtime information) and any Add-on that displays a quests level ingame to make things go a bit faster in eliminating low level quests. Some things I did learn from guides tho was that it's a waste of gold and time to stop by the AH to get better equipment every now and then. Use what you get in the field. Your character's level provides more then enough bonuses, health and mana to level if time or patience is not your friend. These are only recommendations, not a must. I managed to get a horde hunter character from 1-30 in about 2 days with regular play time doing this. Beauty is that it works great for horde as well as for alliance characters! It took me longer to read guides alongside playing then to just do it my own way.
Hope my experience was helpful in someway.
