Hyppogryph hatchling, too bad it looks... "special"Follow

#1 Dec 19 2006 at 5:53 PM Rating: Decent
So with WoW cards back in stock I got 2 starters and 8 boosters (to play with others without them needing decks). Pulled a Hippogryph with code. I'm tempted to scratch it but looking at the pet it looks like it needs to grow into its horns. Everything looks out of proportion. I was hoping it'd be better in motion than the still shots, but it's not. Anyone else share this opinion?

If you go to Booty Bay, the guy, Lando(?), has all the items displayed there. He is roughly at the corner of the main landing. Can't miss the guy on the turtle! And the Hippo is cute, though it does look a little unfinished!

meh, sell the card on EBay and go upgrade your computer so everything looks better. :D That's what I'd do anyway.

Making me laugh out loud at work it evil! Funny, but evil!
The pet does look rather more cartoonish than your average WoW beastie. But I do think its cute.

I have the Hippogryph Hatchling and I think it's cool looking. I don't think the Netherwhelp pet from the TBC:CE is going to look much less cartoonish from what I've seen. It would have been nice to have it do a few custom animations (like the baby murloc dance routine). All in all though... I'm happy with it.

I really like the way the hatchling looks. It's currently my standard pet, replacing the Sprite Darter dragon. Whether the Nether Whelp from TBC will replace it or not, I'm not sure yet.

I've got about 4 unscratched Landro Longshots still if you'd rather have the cool looking tabard.
