82$ here... Over inflated after the game got rare. Lebanon didn't get any games, so I asked a pal to buy it for me in Dubai.

Paladin doesn't have taunt, defensive stance or as many hate building tools and is screwed if his mana runs out. That's where they fall short of warriors for tanking.

Actually, we do have taunt right now. The mana problem is also solved, since we get mana each time we get healed. We can build plenty of aggro nowadays as well. Our damage migitation is just a tad behind on warriors, because we lack the -10% damage from Defensive Stance (yes, we have the +aggro skill, np there). And of course our equivalents of skills like Shield Wall don't work for tanking, as we lose the aggro.

The thing that's currently ******** us over is itemization. There's currently no real items out there for tankadins on raid level. That'll change in the expansion.

I have no illusions as to who will be the best tank. That'll always remain a prot warrior (if not, then the game's broken). However, in TBC, prot paladins will be close behind, not at the huge distance they used to be.

I play a prot warrior.

Guess what - the game's broken.

I've played this warrior since I started playing WoW in October 2005. But right now, if people wanted to know what to roll if they wanted to tank, I'd easily tell them paladin or druid.

Blizzard's destroyed the warrior class. They should just go ahead and remove it from the game - pallies can wear all the plate warriors have been wearing, and every other class can out-DPS warriors.

For balance, the jack-of-all trades cannot beat the specialist. Druid should never be as good as warrior at tanking (all else equal) or why bring warriors when you can basically get warriors who can also heal in a pinch?

If the jack-of-all-trades can't ever equal the specialist, or come close, then why ever bring any hybrids to raids? ;)

Chain hamstring and we'll be quickly out of mana. If we catform (since armor's weakness is dots, which cats can stack) then a retaliation can rip us up if you maintain facing.

First, chain hamstring does not happen anymore. With the rage nerf, we will run out of rage LONG before the druid runs out of mana, and then off he goes.

Second, if your claiming a warrior beating you relies on using a HALF HOUR COOLDOWN ability combined with an inept druid who keeps attacking despite the fact that here's massive swords and sparklies flying around the warrior, then your arguement is, at best, weaker than a starving leper.

I never said it was the only way, I said it was a way. Want me to spoon-feed you how to respond to every single thing a druid could do?

You do not bring hybrids to a raid to DpS, Tank or do any of that stuff. You take them to do all they can.

You take a druid for their amazing buff, CC, healing and some DpS. But a Feral Druid cannot take the place of a warrior in most guilds (some guilds will have some fun every once in a while and let a druid tank in MC or something similar.)

Druids will never be the main healer over a priest.

Mages can do FAR better in the CC arena than Druids, as can Warlocks and Hunters.

But, a Druid is excellent addition to a raid to fill in gaps, not to replace a Main anything.

Same goes for Paladins and Shaman. Neither will ever be the top DpS, Healer, Tank, etc.

But both are very important to the game.

You need every class (*cough* no more factionals *cough*) to put together a truly effective raid.

That is just how it is.

If druid can tank as well as me, that leaves me with nothing over the druid. Thus I'm second fiddle. Not to mention there's tons of warriors on my server. I'm not sharing my tanking spot with even MORE people.

A protection paladin can tank equal or even better then a warrior,

LOL HAHAHAHAHA LOL this is good. I needed a good laugh. Paladin tanking requires mana. When your out, your out, no more aggro holding. YOU MUST BE CONFUSED WITH FFXI paladins that could tank 90% of the game unchallenged.

You cant snap aggro better than a protection spec tank, you dont have anything that gives you more threat with abilities. Divine fury only works with holy spells, and your lil aura to cause 20 holy dmg per attack on you wont cut it with the dmg coming at the mob from high DPS classes.

I laugh at the if not better statement. Ive specced protection and holy and holy prot pally at 60 in great gear.. still cant out-tank a great geared Prot spec war.

Don't forget to mention how overpowered they are ;)

Fact: There exists not a single class that people don't think is overpowered and there does not exist a single class that doesn't think it's hard done by.
I do not think that Mages, Rogues, Warriers, or Shamans are overpowered.

There is no overpowered class, just alot of poor players.
