I started playing around on my rogue for a while and I got to looking at his non-combat pets. And it occurred to me that most people were unlikely to carry as many pets with them as I do. So I thought I’d ask.

Logan has 7 pets crammed into his backpack. Thankfully they all seem to get along with each other.

1) Panda Cub
2) Tiny Crimson Whelping
3) Whiskers the Rat
4) Hyacinth Macaw
5) Spirit of Summer
6) Worg Pup
7) Smolderweb Hatchling

My rogue only has the hyacinth macaw.

I have a horde shaman that has a mechanical squirrel a friend gave me.

Those are my only two pets.

I have 6 pets for my priest but I don't carry them all in my bags at once. My bags are usually packed with reagents, drinks, and gear so I just carry one pet on me at a time.

My druid keeps Jubling and usually one other with her, Santa's Helper, the Siamese, Piglet, or Prairie Dog. I like Jubling best-he makes noise and the faster you go, the noisier he is!

My human mage has his Sprite Darter and an owl and a Green Wing Macaw. I love the look of the owls(my Undead Mage also has one-and a rat!), but the flapping noise of the wings drives me nuts!

Funny how I love the noise Jub makes, but not the owls.

I've been trying to get up the nerve to attempt the stealth to get the Worg Pup on my druid. I really, really, really want that one-I am just afraid I'll ***** up trying! (as I've never been in that place before and I'd only be going by the guide someone has up on the internet somewhere.) I think with my feral build, being level 60, and having the Black Pearl Panther trinket(extra stealth) and maybe some Nightscape Boots, I shouldn't have a problem with stealthing to the worgs. But I've read contradicting stories about whether or not you get attacked as soon as you come out of stealth to attempt the capture and I'm afraid it might not work at all. I've had the empty cage in my bank for a few months now! I should really go try it!

I just recently did both the worg pet and the spider pet quests, from the same quest giver, with my human rogue. I spent talent points to improve his stealth. And with his ability to distract and to vanish it wasn’t hard to do. I got both pets without dying even once. Though I did have to vanish three times.

I’ve been working up the nerve to do those quests with my druid as well. I spent what points I could in stealth and I bought the Black Pearl Panther trinket. I hadn’t thought about the boots. This is the guide I used: (http://www.playthingofthegods.com/DianiusGuides/DianiusGuides.htm). It’s very good. The only thing I noted was at the end of the orc area she has us stealth across a rug between two orcs. When I went through with my rogue there was an orc sitting on the rug. I hugged the right wall instead. Not much room there so I don’t know how well my druid will do. But if we have our gear in our packs, its really just time we waste by dying.

I got a pirate's parrot from Deadmines and thats bout it. They seem pretty useless. I've never equipped it so I might try and sell it at AH. Some chump might buy it, lol

If you don’t enjoy non-combat pets then you may as well sell it and open up another bank slot. Though that particular pet is usually fairly common in the AH so I expect you’ll get a few silver for it.

I personally find non-combat pest as valuable as purple or gold armor/weapons. The point of the game is to have fun. At least that’s the reason I play it. And I have at least as much fun with my pets as I do with any piece of gear. Actually, I usually have more fun with my pets. Thus, in most cases my pets are more valuable.

After getting sick and tired oy my pig, parrot, snake, roach and more, I found myself the perfect pet that never leaves my bag. My Disgusting Oozeling makes me look like a flashing green Christmas light. Good times...

I only have one -somewhat- non-combat pet on me now. (I don't usually have any pets, but I DO have a set of "around town sexy looking gear" lol)

I found it for sale in theramore for like >1g IIRC.
Figurine: Black pearl panther.

The best part about it is not only that it's effective, but it also spawns a tiny little black panther minion that runs around with you for 15sec.
It's soooo cute. ^^

Yes! I got that one too for my druid and my rogue. I didn't even notice the kitty until I had used it quite a few times(kinda dark in Swamp of Sorrows where I was questing at the time!). I thought perhaps it would be a trick to have 2 non-combat pets out at one time with this, but alas, when you activate this one any pet out will de-spawn.

But it is cute!

I carry a cat on every Gnome I play because it makes me look like a Hunter!

(i.e. it's the same proportion as a night elf hunter w/ a tiger next to him).

Makes me /chuckle
