ok i noticed the LFG channel has been replaced by a group making thing which is good no objections but does anyone here still go /join lookingforgroup and is anyone there ever on?

The LFG Channel...is gone. Get over it.

It has been replaced by the new search tool. The tool (if you don't uncheck the auto-add button) could make your group 3 warriors and 2 rogues. It sucks, ok?

Wanna fix it so you have a good group? Go to a city of your faction and talk in general. Or, ask guildees and/or friends.

it will take some time but can be great in the long run. Right now I notice even after you reset everything to default and uncheck so you are blank, you still get whispers or group invites for a while after (probably because the others don't refresh and your name stays on there). I have used it a few times, but normally in addition to posting in general chat in a Capital City. Not solely to get my group together.

The Meeting Stone summons is great! That gets 5 Stars

It's funny having Naxxramas on the LFG Interface though, I might be afraid to get a Nax PUG together! Of course I suppose it's more for "ok we have 30 players need 10 more" or something.

You can still type "/join lookingforgroup" and use the channel, but it's not a main one like local defense or anything. I know a few folks on Argent Dawn still use it.

My experience with it is not that bad, last weekend i used it for the first time and although it might not be great it can be useful.

As a plus and to my best knowledge it will look world wide for people with the same request as you, I have been joined while looking for group to do Dead Mines while i was in Redridge and if not mistake even got someone from Wetland port.

with the summon stone all this not only doesnt delay the group but might actually make it faster to all to get there.

Also from experience usually the parties get formed with either 2 or 3 people, from then on you will be able to activelly search for the jobs you want/need.

I think most people are using it to attack the issue from both angles now. I'll use the LFG to find a group...and also send a request on the General channel. This usually gets me into a full party pretty quickly.
