I went on Arathi Basin just now and when I got onto the battleground everything I had was gone, and won't come back. Even the bag slots in my bank for christ's sake ! Anyone else had this problem?

Hmm thats odd. I've heard of this happening before too. People say just to wait for a bit and then check your bank. Everything seemed to turn up there. Also which server are you on? It seems to be happening to a few people on Greymane. If that doesn't work of course contact a GM.
