I don't see why not! If a Druid can morph into a lil' cat and tear butt away from me, why shouldn't I be able to get up on my war steed (seeing as it IS a castable spell) and run him down like the nublet he is? Sure, I can see if some form of damage interrupts the casting, but doesn't that seem fair and logical to be able to do that?

PS. I want to see lances in the game. Massive crits with a cavalry charge of war mounts = beauty on a Prnt Scrn

'cause by the time you're done casting he's 50000 yards away and Prowled? =D

It's probably got something to do with the fact that mounts are faster than most any enemy and being able to run away with a 100% success rate would take the risk out of fighting.

Another question could be "why the heck can't we use them inside?"

Think about all the horses roaming around inside, now think of the droppings.

And don't even get me started on the Kodo's, thats why I won't walk through barrens anymore.

I want to know why you can mount in undercity but you can't mount in booty bay...or do i have booty bay wrong? Could have sworn that was the quote of the day not to long ago on here.

The goblins don't want to have to clean off the planks and the undead don't mind the smell.

On the same lines, Why can't Shamans use Ghost wolf when they're doing a corpse run?

How come you can have a backpack full of gnoll spittle, spidor ichor, and partially digested meat, but it never gets gooey or smells bad?

The movement form is a Druid ability. Allowing everyone to mount up, would make it void. HoJ him before he tries to run away, HoW him while he runs away, or even better, keep him JoJed, and watch him running away at 100% speed.

Paladins have one spell that makes our movement speed not go below 100% and another spell that makes our opponents movement speed not go above 100%. If you spend 2 talent points, or take the right enchant, our speed is 108%, and we're always able to gain in on the enemy.

If you're being serious I too would like to see lances in the game, especially with the flying mounts coming in BC.

Air jousting would be a rush.

How about having to find a place to tie down your mount when you get off it, or it wanders away and you have to find it before you can mount...

Mounted combat is definately something Blizzard needs to look at.

Riding, and the ability to ride, is such a big part of the game. I think it deserves more respect.

If you should be able to mount while in combat, you should be able to be knocked off your mount during combat and take damage from the fall.

On another note, I always wondered why a small ring that fits on your finger fills up the same amount of space in my bags as a large mail chestpiece or a two-handed weapon, while no less than 250 bead necklaces that drop off of Furbolgs occupy the same space! Oh- and somebody needs to master the art of laying one piece of paper on top of another, because I'm tired of picking up patterns, plans, blueprints and formulae, and seeing them not stack, even if they're the same one as I have in my bags already. I mean, they're written on paper! Smiley: jester
