Timbermaw Hold rep.Follow

#1 Dec 09 2006 at 5:27 PM Rating: Decent
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has a more efficient way to raise rep with Timbermaw other than grinding on the mobs outside the tunnel in Felwood. Im currently unfriendly and want neutral. Thanks in advance for any help.

I just got mine up to Neutral without much trouble. I am not sure which ones they are but there are quests that also raise your rep with them. When you grind make sure you are keeping those headresses as well so you can turn them in to the guy outside of the hold (on the Felwood side).

Hope this helps.

P.S. The captain guy gives +15 honor just so you know...if you can kill him then do it to get some extra. You'll need more than just yourself though to kill him, he is with buddies.

Sadly no. This is the only way to gain rep at that point. There are 2 kill quests that can be done to give a decent rep bonus but the only repeatable one is to kill random mobs and to turn in the head dresses.

You are in the right place. I have exalted with the Timbermaw so have spent a good deal of time there. If you only want neutral, turn in the feathers for rep. If you ever decide you want to go for exalted, save all feathers and beads until revered. You get extra rep for the black chief, so get him as often as possible. If you can get into a group that can nuke the camps quickly you can gain rep pretty fast.

If you happen to be a mage you can grind Timbermaw rep very, very quickly. I've grinded to honored on two characters, a hunter and a mage. It took a couple weeks on the hunter, took two days on the mage.

grind on the mobs in Winterspring?

Yep, the camp over by Everlook has some more, and they drop the beads. I concentrated on the Felwood camp however, since they spawn a little quicker, there are more of them, and they are a little easier to kill. It's up to you. Try both. At least do any quest you may get for them on the Winterspring side.

There's a little camp of Winterfall on the south side of the road between the cave and the turnoff to the ruins of Kel'theril. They spawn fast enough for a solo to continuously farm them. It's a bit slower if another player shows up, but still quite a bit faster than farming them at Winterfall Village, which always seems to have a large number of people trying to gain rep.
