Trial? Trial? Do I get to be on the jury? Please?

Mazra is guilty! (see how quick I am to make up my mind? I'd be an excellent juror) Off with his head!

No, no! The other head!

Well, I was a Beastmaster75 on FFXI and when I got fed up with FFXI and came to WoW. I decided to finish my fun trip with a pet and soloing. So that's how I picked my class as a Hunter.

Try Hunter you may like it too.

Well, I came to the Priest class for a number of reasons: First, I was just coming away from the pre-1.9 Paladin class which for some reason made me dislike melee. I knew pretty instantly I wanted a pure caster class, so that already eliminated most of the other classes in the game. Next, I loved the idea of hardly every having to wait for a group, being one (if not the) best healer in the game. Hell, groups came to me when I was holy specced. Which takes me to the third reasons. I liked how the class was set up. If you wanted to, you could actually be a pretty solid DPS Priest via Shadow or an even better healer with Holy. And Disc made a great augmentation for either spec.

At the moment, I would be wary about recommending the class. The new talent trees still have a few problems and kinks, and there are other problems with the class, but I'm hoping Blizzard will fix those as time goes on and the BC comes out.

I played on my friends account when I didn't want to buy/pay for my own. I played a Hunter to 25, and got tired of having little to no challenge, so I played on his Lv19 Rogue. Twinked, none the less, I enjoyed what I played. So I bought my own game and paid for it. I leveled a Hunter to 20 again, wanted to play on Horde, and I chose an Undead Rogue.

I was born a Warrior Tauren, so that's what I chose :)

Seriously, I Figured a warrior was the character most like my personality (not knowing that warriors tank and doesn't get to kill a lot), and I figured that a huge pissed off tauren would underline the character (again... not knowing that the Tauren in Blizzards world is a peacefull nature loving creature) So there you have it.
To be honest I never cared for other races or classes. I know only little of what they can or can't do. I'm a tauren... I kill, bash and stomp. End of story.

I chose warlock because I've always been fascinated by their dark side.
however, leveling its kinda frustrating until you're in your 30ish, so be aware of it.

Started with a human paladin for the supportive nature of both being the person in plate that takes the hits and supporting the rest with buffs and heals. After getting it to 48 or so, I found out how much of a flash/cleansebot paladins are in endgame raiding, and thought, if I'm gonna heal, I better do it good. So I rerolled a priest, and made it a dwarf on advise by the rest of the guild. Once my priest hit 60 and got the basic blues, I only used it for raiding, leveled the pally to 60, and used it to have fun in 5 man instances.

Now with all the boosts palatanking got, I wanna make it my main again, but it's way undergeared for Naxx, so I'll keep on using my priest for raiding, until TBC hit us. Then it's back to the paladin as my main.

Also got a Druid and a Warrior at lower levels. Enjoy playing either one of them. Leveling the Warrior mostly because I wanna see the difference between Warrior and Paladin tanking.

I'll never bring a pure DPS class to reasonable levels. I like playing in groups, but I wanna do something interesting in groups. I find healing quite interesting, and tanking even more interesting, but plain DPSing really boring. I'm really bored when my paladin or druid is just DPSing throughout the instance.

I got the game with the intent of pairing up with my boyfriend. He said we could start a couple of characters at the same time and suggested to take Night Elf since he'd already run a few characters up through that starting zone. Our schedules weren't quite meshing and I was getting impatient so I started a Troll Warrior in the hopes of catching up to his Troll Shaman eventually. I picked Warrior for my starting Troll and Night Elf characters because I thought it would be the least complicated class and the easiest to learn the ropes on and would pair up well with any class my boyfriend chose to play.

I have since tried out Rogue, Hunter and Mage and have found that I really enjoy the Rogue class and it's good for solo play. I'm still learning how to most effectively play my Hunter and Mage but I do find them to be fun.

i started out with a Night Elf Druid, the though of transforming into a creature was appealing, if you can be patient enough and level to 10 and do the quest its well worth it because its a handy thing to have because you can actually take some decent hits that you couldn't in your elf form, and at 20 you can turn into a cat which is also nifty. so just by reccomendation i say at least tinker with Druid, granted that would require you to go to at least 10, but imo and its only that, Druid is one of the best classes out there ^^ and loads of fun cause you can do both good melee and magic damage

When I played AD&D I enjoyed 2 classes, priests and rogues. Those are my co-mains, my priest is 46 and my rogue is now 49. All the others I have tried out pure curiosity and wanting to know how that class is played only so that I could play my priest better (the rogue's job is easy, stab till it quits moving). I'm really liking the 'lock and the shaman as well, but disc/holy priest and assassin/subtle rogue will always be my first loves.

In MUDs, I used to play a mage, warrior/mage, or thief/mage.
WoW looked to be a bit more complicated so I picked a rogue because it seemed like it would be easier for somebody new to MMORPGs (and still kept a tiny bit of the thief with the backstabbety pain).

Add to this the fact that I was working at the time with a bunch of people playing on a PvP server (Arthas)...tales of undead rogues sneaking around immune to harm danced in my head and I thought it would be perfect for keeping out of trouble (even on a PvE realm).

So...
Rogue because it seemed easier...
And Undead because I like the Horde better. I had a vampire thing going on for a while, too, but Forsaken are more like smart zombies and not nearly as sexy as vampires. Oh well.

I tried them all, in assorted races, up to the teens, until I tried a Tauren Shaman, took him to 55. Then I went back to a Troll hunter, and something clicked, went to 60 and still love it. Mainly because I don't like getting hit, lol.

I picked my hunter, because i love animals and wanted a pet. I wish i would have chosen differently. It was a fun ride to 60, and great to learn on, but well we all know the ultimate demise to hunters at 60. Its terribly hard to get anywhere unless you have a good guild. Its even hard to get a pug.

So then, I rolled a shaman and never looked back.
I liked the idea of filling spots, since for some reason, no matter how you make a group, how perfect it is, your always missing something. Its strange.

So thus i rolled a resto-shaman, love the new level 50 talent, it really give my shaman a much needed boost for solo play.
I was having a terrible time trying to keep myself alive, while I was trying to kill someone. Now im in a great spot, where every time they hit me, i heal a little. Thus keeping me alive for alittle longer without having to heal. Its wonderful, and im glad i chose resto.

I had already gotten some big info on the game by the time I started playing so I somewhat knew what I was going for.
So I chose an Undead Warlock.
Horde because I figured there'd be more of my kind player's there, and it was nice to play something with a background story than the generic "good-guys" the alliance seemed to offer (except elves and dwarves, but elves are Michael Jackson like, ewww, and dwarves... well, they're dwarves)
Undead because of the racials and because undead ************* are kind of cool, never stay dead for long hehe, and they have mrs. Vendetta Windrunner as a queen which is cool (dark mercenary tft: FTW !!!)
And a warlock because I absolutely loved the idea of casting spells like a mage, as well as commanding a demon against my enemies, and of course seeing them slowly die off from my curses while laughing maniacally and telling them what foolish mortals they were to stand up against me xD
Still love my warlock at 44, althought I'm having some issues with her addiction to fear mechanics and have come to hate hunters to their ******* death, so much I have completely abolished the thought of ever playing a hunter.

Then I decided to make an Undead priest, because troll spells&racials suck for priest, and I wanted to make a class somewhat opposed to the Dps-oriented warlock, however, I did not like the way a priest is played solo and hated the heck of a long and numerous down-times, so I dropped him at 14.
Then I started a troll shaman, he is now 21 and I like it pretty much, some spell casting combined with melee and healing, and also choosing your little totem helpers for the occassion. As it is I am building him towards enhancement but it is quite cool filling gaps like, aggroing tank-forgotten mobs who run off to the mage or healer, earth-shocking ****** healers, healing battered allies and so on... I think I find multi-tasking is quite interesting ^_^
