Ok i am sure there are many posts on cosmos! when i go into the main screen and go into my addons they are all incompatible. I tried downloading the cosmos alpha which was updated on the 6th . STILL NOTHING WORKS!I really just only want MAP Cordinates. Is there a good place to download cosmos that works or are they still trying to make that happen after the patch

No offense, but if all you want is map cordinates, then there are MUCH better addons then Cosmos. Cosmos is really a big POS. There are a few standalone mods that will do it, without taking up the huge amount of memory and resources that Cosmos does. The addon sites are a bit bogged down right now, but if you can get on like curse just search up cordinates or somehting and find a standalone. I know CT Map Mod is wokring right now, and it has them.

Personally, I wouldn't go near CTMod atm.. they've really screwed it up this patch, and imo it looks horrid, there are lots of standalone mods for locs though, just google it or somthing.

pad.

I thought this at first myself. However, after a few option changes, it looks a lot like it did before the patch for me.

Well, in all fairness, a lot of mods have been screwed up this patch. Both in looks and functionaility... I wasn't specifically saying that you HAD to use CT, it is just something I knew off the top of my head. But yea, CT is pretty screwed in this new version... Half the things aren't compatible yet, some don't have options in the gui, the new version of the buff mod is horrible (imo), RA doesn't even work right. Granted, I did expect most of these problems to come about anyways... but still, it isn't that good.

Edit:

care to detail the option changes? I've been a long time user and can't say I like the way it currently looks... but I can't really find anything for making it more like before patch... (besides the obvious problems with half the mods not being written yet like the bar mods)

If you're using more than bare bones CT I'm not sure, but I got a copy of CT off of my roommate and changed something like two options(Buff style? and something else, not home can't check). And now it seems to be looking just as I had it before.

The Raid Assist is the only part that really seems buggy to me. I got it disabled at the moment, using Blizzard's default interface. Biggest downcast on that? Not being able to show both buffs and debuffs. So now I show all the groups (for buffs) and all the classes (for debuffs), cluttering my screen.

Somehow in all this madness, we still managed to down a boss in Naxx. Afaik, only 3 guilds on our server managed, the rest giving up. Some went BWL and got some nice shammy loot to diss :P
