did world PvP change? i heard some people in ORG talking about it. i heard they rid of dishonorable kills, and now do you get honorable kills for killing normal PvP NPCs? What about non-pvp npcs?
And so now rank does not matter whatsoever? You just have to earn points/honor in BG's? Or what? I try reading up on it but it doesnt make a lot of sense. Lamyens terms please? Thanks

There are no more DKs, however the old level 55 guards are now level 65 so good luck.
You still do not get HKs/honor from killing any NPCs (not counting NPCs contained within Alterac Valley).
Rank solely exists as way of showing how far you got through the old honor system; it is not needed for anything (nor can you even gain it anymore).
You receive honor and tokens through BGs just like you used to, except the honor received is less (somewhere around 1/10th, maybe a bit more).
Honor gained is now treated as currency (like gold) and does not ever disappear until you spend it.
Potions, weapons, armor, and mounts can all be bought using various combinations of gold, honor points, and battleground tokens.

So............. if I get this correctly...
OLD SYSTEM:
Reach a certain rank (example rank 14) and you can buy anything as long as you have the gold... you can buy anything
NEW SYSTEM:
you get honor and tokens (what are they, like marks of honor, and how do you get them) and once you buy something, it takes the honor and tokens away, so you must regain more honor to buy something else?

Yup.
Old system: you will never get rank 14 and epic gear because you have a job/school/family.
New System: you will get the gear if you persevere. This means lots of people still won't get it but they could.

What about rep? Anything to do with rep? So, me little ol' me can go and get honor and tokens and buy like good stuff even though I suck, it will just take a while? And do you get nice rewards at WSG? Or only like AV since it's meant only for high-level players? Sorry to sound so dumb, i've never been higher than 41 and I never have been past neutral with any BG faction and never past Grunt...

You can also stockpile a maximum of 100 of each of the battleground tokens and 90,000 honor points.
The new system is also nice in that you can simply grind for certain pieces instead of having to perhaps get several you don't care about on your way to the 2-3 you actually want.
The downside is you'll see people in greens running around with High Warlord weapons; why run UBRS or Strat or anything really when you can just go do some PVP for better stuff :X
