Having trouble installing patches?Follow

Here are a few tips on what you can do.

For some reason most of the patches have a hard time getting installed on the computer I play wow on. This is most likely hardware related and not Blizzards fault.

What I do is copy the gamefolder over to my usb harddrive. Then I copy the game on to another computer and install the patches there. Then I just copy the game back to my computer. If you don't have a usb drive like me. There are several options to do.

If you have a friend that plays wow. If so ask if he can burn a copy for you.

If you have several computers here is a link explaining how to share folders on different computers. This is for win2k and xp.

Hopefully this would get your problems solved.

I'm currently in the process of downloading the patch at a rate of about 10MB/ hour with my poopy dial-up connection. at 494MB I feel like I'll never play WoW again. lol, but i've just left it running all night and at 8:15 AM, it's still going.
/sigh.
