Oh yeah. Nothing but PvP for me all weekend.
Edit: Which BGs you do? Team/Solo? Any other quick honor tips you'd recommend?
A mix of WSG and AB. Speant most of the time in a guild group that was about half (maybe a little less) of our very well-geared mains... and half rather poorly gueared alts. (Although... poorly geared for us usually means at least some MC gear, often quite a bit of MC gear. Still!) We were doing quite well... we usually lose in AB (not used to alts, bad at assisting, whatever) but we were rolling along nicely. WIth half of our team getting randomly plowed in two hits we took a guild run in full Tier 3 to an INCREDIBLY close game, although we lost by 100 points. Still, their two Corrupted Ashbringers and two Might of Menethils weren't helping them very much in the AB game against our MC-geared alts, so don't get discouraged.
Secondly, especially if you're not going to be raiding (as much) or even if you are, don't be afraid to spec PvP. Pick up the random tools like Blazing Speed (fricking _godly_)... but also don't spec total idiocy. Some of the new, nonconvential specs are incredlby potent in PvP.
Example: Restoration Shaman (WITHOUT Mana Tide) are now PvP healing gods. Earth Shield + Healing Interruption talents give them 100% uninterruptable heals plus 15% resistance to kick/silence effects... and Earth Shield is obscenely strong. Just... obscene. My guild leader's alt Shaman (~3500 HP unbuffed, bad armor even with a shield) lasted about 30 seconds against a Tier 3 Hemo Spec'd Rogue _by himself_. It heals for an enormous amount and the heals just become interruptable. It's... well... insane.
Resto Shamans become Holy Paladins in terms of survivability. It's rediculously good in group PvP, so make sure not all of your shaman spec Enhnoob or Pewpewbolts.
Anyway... random PvP ramblings over. Get friends from your guild together and get cranking, you'll do fine and it's a lot of fun.
