Im a 40 troll warrior i jus wanna know wats the best place to get enough gold for a mount
Take up fishing and go to Steamwheedle port. Fish for stonescale eels and winter squid. Sell them on the AH. If you want a break kill the turtles around there. They give some nice drops that you can sell there.

Well i would have said that soloing Stockades and farming for wool cloth is a way... but hey that was way more fun. Fishing!!! yeah thats it. That has to be the best way to get 1000g per week ;)

This topic came up in the Usenet groups in the last day or so, and people were fishing for 20 minutes - in the right spots - and getting 50g in 20 minutes. Not bad work if you can get it!

Well i never thought fishing could make you that sums of g.
I am on a European server and believe me fishing is good for desperate anti-boredom measures... HeHe But never guessed you could make serious profits of it.

Dang, I would have never thought of sending my Troll warrior there to make the big gold. I've just been putting bars, stone and odd greens I've picked up into the AH to make my mount money.
Fishing has helped too though the Blackmouth, Deviate and Firefin market on my server is a bit fickle at times. I need to find some place I can try for Stonescale at my level.
Yes, really :) I was thinking of fishing as being not much of an earner, being new to WoW and hitherto only earning a few silver doing it. The advice I saw there certainly opened my eyes to the joys of fishing! Some fish on the Alliance side sell well at the neutral auction house, and vice versa, so I was told. Several people referred to Stonescale Eels, which sell for around 15 to 22 gold per stack, depending on server and current prices at the time, naturally.
I need to up my fishing skills :D

You do need to be above 200 to fish in Steamwheedle port. So you just take a trip to booty bay and get some fishing baubles.
And I have to say the quest to become an artisan fisher was cool. There are some nice guides here that will tell you were to go and then you can raise your fishing skill all the way up to 300 in Steamwheedle port.
