well my problem goes like when i receive a mail on Wow the icon on the radar is black with purple in it and all kinda sort of things it looks ugly but when i change resolution its fixed and i see the normal mail icon but i just dont want to change resolution everytime i start up wow does any1 know how to fix this problem

Dont know if this will work for you, but had sort of the same problem - went into video options and changed to (triple buffering). Cleared it up but left my minimap slightly "ugly" but after loading up again later it was ok.
If the problem is fixed whenever you change it, and then pops back up after shutting down wow, you may not have the propper privledges to save on the account you are playing on.
Changing settings in game saves and updates files in folders like WTF and WDB in your WOW folder. If you are playing under an account that cannot change files then any changes you make in game will not save permanently.

uhhm no im still a newbie to WoW and i dont know what a .WTF folder is
and im not using any addons mine system req works fine for WoW except that i could upgrade to 1gig but that cant be the problem and mine video card is ok so maybe any walktrough for empty .WTF folder?

well i delted mine Wtf. folders now and it didnt do a thing triple buffering also didnt helped and the last option shud be mine driver i think but i have a nvidia geforce6600 if there is any1 here who has a link of the latest driver for it it would be very appreciated :)
