why dont you shut your mouth and stop sticking up for billion dollar companies.
Off-topic... I see this attitude a lot. It intrigues me. The thing about billion dollar companies is that they employ a lot of people. If you say "***** rich people" and try to steal from them and ***** them over in every way possible (i.e., taking money out of the cash drawer at work because you "deserve it more" or "it won't hurt anyone", or screaming your way into a refund at a shop for an empty box or used-up online codes), if everyone did that, the company would go bankrupt and a lot of innocent people would be out of jobs.
Now, I'm not talking about enforcing rules on companies, like they have to control their pollution or treat their employees right. Companies that can't afford to be ethical in their business shouldn't have the privilege to exist, but that doesn't make vigilante justice right or effective. I'm also not saying that the majority of rich businessmen aren't soulless beings who deserve the spite of the lower class... they're not all like that but I do know where the stereotype comes from. I'm just talking about the jaded, selfish individual who thinks that the more money you have, the more evil you are without exception... and thus tries to ***** as much money out of "the man" as possible? I'm missing something here.
Just because your actions (or thoughts) hurt a company rather than an individual doesn't make your actions or thoughts any more moral. Companies are run by individuals and while one person being a **** isn't going to put much of a dent in things, if we all acted like that the world would be a pretty terrible place.
If you are so against big business, then boycott the major companies that you find so offensive. Buy from local mom and pop stores. That is the proper way to demonstrate lack of support for what they do.
More on-topic... the 7.5 million figure is active accounts, not characters or human players, and it includes the US, China, Korea, and Europe.
