Arena Combat and ElixirsFollow

So, after reading up a bit on the new Arena combat system soon to be introduced into Azeroth, this comment caught me...

No consumables other than bandages and conjured items can be used while in the arena.

Does that mean that a Stat altering elixir's effects would instantly dissapear the instant you join an arena fight? Or simply that you cant pop a health potion while midfight? If elixirs effects are wiped when joining an arena battle I see quite a few "Buffs Plz, Buffs Plz!" Spamming happening VERY often in the not to distant future before accepting an Arena battle...Anyone got any clarifications?

Hehe...

Any existing buffs and conjured items will be purged or deleted upon entering. This is to ensure outside buffs are not used, and no conjured items from players not actually in your group are being used.

Chalk it up to my inability to read something completely without letting my mind get ahead, answered my own question.

I don't see a point in conjured food/drinks other than the Warlocks Healthstone.

I mean it's a last man standing, one death, one chance to win, so they want it to be quick and finsih fast. Why drag it out, when it's suppose to be quick.

So I don't think you can use anything but conjured items, and any buffs you have will be gone (have to re-buff going into match) and de-buffs will have to stay with you.
