Does anyone know whether you can use flying mounts in the Outland BG? (Called storms or something similar)
I'm curious because I assume the level blocks are 60-69 and 70 yes?
In which case that would mean that Druids would become quite nice in the 60-69 BG bracket... With flying form at level 68, they would become the only flyers....
So basically can we fly in the BG?

I remember reading both, so I don't know what to tell you except wait 3 days.
edit: Or I could not be retarted and tell you to wait 2 months... where the hell did I get the idea the BG was coming out with the patch?

Yes, flying mounts can be used in The Eye of the Storm BG. It's even got a steep cliff at your spawning point just to encourage you to spread your wings.

Its probably going to just be 61-70, like AV is in its current form.
Otherwise, yea, druid could fly and hold flag forever.
From what i've heard you can't fly with the flag. Exactly like you can't mount with the flag in WSG. This includes Crow Form.

Sure I assumed you wouldn't be able to fly with the flag, but it still means that we are the only flyers in this bracket...
A team of smart druids could simply fly to the Towers/flag while the rest of the team held the bridges....
* actually, are you sure you cannot fly with the flag? seems reasonable but we can run with the WSG flag while shifted.... just a thought...

There's a slight but important difference. Everyone of any level can run along the ground, meaning you're vunerable in cheetah. Only those who are level 70 or level 68 druids can fly. They are not going to allow you to take the flag up into the middle of the BG sky and /point /laugh at everyone. Every other class than druids wouldn't play it until they were level 70 themselves otherwise.
I'm actually curious about the PVP rewards of Eye of the Storm. I suppose these would be better than the Rank 12-13 armor set and HWL weapons.
