It seems everything and everyone is on a wait and see attitude when TBC comes out.

Funny, I thought the PVE gear would be better than the PVP rewards being offered in TBC.

Not really suprised, raiding is boring @.@ If it was fun then raiding guilds wouldn't be having this problem~ Idk about anyone else, but I pay $15/month to have fun, not so I can work at another job... So I don't blame people for quiting if the only thing they were even there for was to be stronger then the next guy.

Maybe BC will actually make raiding fun, so that guilds don't have to rely on the promise of epics to keep their attendance up.

The guild I am in currently is mostly friends and family of co-workers. Some aren't either but have joined and became a friend. We are small thoughonly like 6 level 60's with a plethera of alt's and lower levels. One thing most guilds need is a tank and healer that ACTUALLY want to heal. Personally I don't mind doing either But my main is a hunter which is neither.

Personally I find raiding fun, I like going into someplace with my guild and working on killing the big *** bosses like Ony and Rags such. I don't go for the promise of epics, and neither do a good deal of my guild's raid... we got to have fun and help people. The fact is, while there is a higher chance to get an epic in a raid, it is still not that high even if you're the only person of your class to need something, the boss still has to drop it, which may not happen. Anyone/guid having to "promise epics" to keep people coming needs to seriously rethink their outlook on raids. Not even in the sense that you may go home empty so they can't actually promise, but WHY they are raiding in the first place. To each their own though, I do know that some people find raiding to be boring and such, and I respect that.

The problem doesn't really come with these people thinking raids are boring, but rather the fact they don't want to put in the time and gold required to raid at the higher end of the raids right now, especially when the gear they will be paying thousands of gold for BECOMES OBSOLETE and WORTHLESS in about 1 month. Besides set bonuses, it seems some of the FIRST quests you get in outlands are basically on par with the T2/3 set. Thats from a QUEST, not a raid mind you... I guess in a ROUGH sense that could be said that they find raids boring, but still, even if you found something fun would you want to spend thousands of gold and tons of hours when you could do something else you also find fun for less time and money spent? Again it comes down to a "to each their own" type thing. Some people wouldn't mind spending the gold/time to be with their guild, but as many (or more) just run raids for epics... those are the people that are leaving and getting frustrated with the changes. Maybe they have fun killing the bosses and such, maybe they don't.

You know the crazy thing is that a Blue also said they for TBC there would not be any 40 man raids but they also said that there MAY be more 40 man raids in the future (past) TBC.

/hummmmmm will we be back to 40 man raids in a year or so ??????? Only Paris Hilton knows

And if they go back to 40 raids in, lets say, 4 months, many guilds have broken for nothing.

As bad as i feel for you and your situation.

It makes me quite happy this is happening with the current guilds. It opens up spots for new people to raid.

I personally wish to raid but its terribly hard to find a decent guild with openings. I hope this opens up new possibilties for people like me.

Otherwise, I guess its kinda upsetting, but in all reality the game will change a lot for you when the expansion comes out. Something tells me that honestly you wont notice the problem once it happens.

Since it comes out on 01/16 at this time, just think about it like this, a little over 1 month until we get all new content, and a whole new aspect to the game.

Im thrilled.
