Ok, so the honor system is getting scrapped as well all know. This weekend I'm going to be grinding my butt off in WSG farming honor as much as I possibly can. My hope is that I'll hit Legionaire on Tuesday to get two new pieces of gear, and also to display my new permanent rank in the new honor system.
So my question is, if I achieve my new rank, will I be able to purchase my new gear, or will the new honor system ***** it up?
Someone had mentioned to me online that the honor updates at tuesday at 2am (not sure of timezone), so I would be able to purchase my new gear before the maintenance starts later on in the morning.
Can anyone confirm this, or are my chances of getting my Legionaire gear pretty much down the drain?
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Blizzard released a statement that you can grind to maybe get your new title but you would not be able to get your new rewards. I will find the link.

From what i understand of the Update: No
I'll find the exact link to it, but It said something along the lines of, 'Before the patch the honor you gain will increase your title but you will not be able to purchase rewards'
Also, The Rank never updates until about 3am - 5am server time. All the Servers will be going down at 1am. So even if you wanted to stay online until the rank flipped, the servers would already be down and you couldn't anyway.

On rare occasion the rank update will happen before the servers go down the night before giving you a short window to purchase your updates. It only happened to me once in my 11 ranks so there is always a chance ...

Nah, this time Blizz specified that it wouldn't be possible.

Yeah, usually the honor updates at around 1-2 AM PST on Tuesday morning, but this time the servers are going down at 1 AM (so no possible way to get the items).
i have been able to purchase my new rank rewards pretty regularly on tuesday mornings at roughly 6:30am est. hope this helps some. iddie.

So, there is a slim chance that you might be able too, if next tuesday happens to be a new moon and you hop on your left foot three times at exactly 1am pst.
But, with such a huge and ?important (having a hard time finding the right word at 3:49am) patch, I am sure that Blizz is going to do all in their power to make sure this patch goes live as planned.
