how do i get exaltet with darnassus? do i have to go where the night elves start and do their quest there?

Starting the following questline will eventually turn it repeatable. Doing turn ins for this quest will give you rep with Darnassus.

Additionally, this questline also gives you Darnassus rep. It also becomes repeatable.
