Yesterday I was questing with my lvl 22 mage in the Wetlands when suddenly the Axe of the Prospector dropped from one of the Orcs. Half an hour later I got the Ironpatch Blade from one of the Gnolls in Redridge. Both are blue items that sold for 15 and 19G in the AH. I went on questing in Duskwood and green items kept dropping left and right from the critter I killed. At the end of the day I was a VERY happy lvl 24 mage with 36 Gold. :)

I never had that much gold on a char at that level before. I'm usually pretty broke until the mid-30s.

Life is good.

Never had one of those moments. I've never had any drop other than green or BoP/instance blues. That's with a lvl 51 warrior, 27 Rogue, and 12 Hunter.

The closest I came was a day farming snapjaws when I got an inordinate number of green drops.

I'm beginning to believe the blues and purples don't actually drop. They are sold by a secret vendor that is not revealed to you until a certain amount of money has been transferred from your account to Blizzard.

Kang The Decapitator dropped for me twice in two weeks a while back, that was pretty awesome.

My mage, who I hadn't played for months until recently, got two random blue drops in Duskwood in two days a couple of weeks ago.

Best luck like that came with one of my alliance rogues. Was killing furbolgs in Winterspring and happened upon a chest spot. The first time it popped it had a bunch of junk in it, but as I continued to kill the chest popped again. It had two blues inside.

I squealed like a quillboar.

I haven't danced naked in front of stormwind, but my orc ran naked all the way from razor hill to teldrassil just to get an owl for a pet.

A couple of days ago I got two lockboxes and a buttload of greens from two mobs. I couldn't use any of the stuff but it made me a few shiney gold.

Well, looks like balance has been brough to Azeroth again. I knew such a streak of luck couldn't last. I just visited the Stockage in SW with a PUG right out of hell. A priestess that ran out of mana because she used smite and holy fire instead of heal, a warrior who wouldn't know the basics of tanking if you hit him on the head with a shield, a rogue that only seemed to be happy if he pulled at least two rooms of mobs at once and a druid who usually stood back 30m, watching the show, scratching his butt.

And that after almost an hour of desperately putting a group together via numerous polite whispers.

I'll now go killing some Murloc babies until I feel better.

Had a Staff of Jordan drop off a raptor in STV while grinding there. Also had a Blazing Emblem drop off a zombie in STV. STV seems to like me.
