I made it!
I figure it's worth my trouble... I mean if I didn't do this before the patch came out (I was pretty close anyway) I would have to earn points for my rings and necklaces every bracket. Now I can just buy them all right now and have a shiny new ring and necklace at 18/28/38/48/58.
I'm so happy! but it's 5am and I'm also going crazy.

And that's ok, because i'm going crazy as well, except i'm at work and it's important to stay sane at this hour. I hope and pray it does not come out tomorrow, but i've 'never' seen blizzard advertise the maintance as "all servers extended maintenance" like it did when i logged before leaving to come here about 4 hours ago.

Hehe, joke's aside, gratz man. I as well am desperately getting as much honor as I can just to display my rank as high as it can be. I just got home from work after a 13 day stretch of 12 hour graveyard shifts, and I'm pooped! I can't wait for noon to log on and finally get Blood Guard, then I get to go buy my boots and gloves (15% extra speed on ghost wolf woot!)
My next goal will be to save up for my TUF and come patch time I'm going to give enhancment a try to grind to 70 (its gonna be so nuts in the outlands!!)

P.S. did you retire your priest?
I don't know if it's only Eastern time servers or all servers, but there's a half-hour window after which rank is calculated for the week but before the server goes down. I logged on at 7:45 (4:45 Pacific) this morning to buy my Rank 10 pieces. If the patch is next week, and honor gets calculated before the server goes down, I may end up getting my Rank 11 mount. Something to keep in mind if you're still going for last minute rank-ups. There's a sliver of hope -- unless patch is today.

On a side note (people say this a lot in this thread), I hope those point-system things they'll be adding make it faster to get my stinkin PvP armor :P

I couldn't get it all though.. for my rogue I only got the AB trink and Belt for levels 48 and 58, and the wsg ring and necklace for 48. Oh and the wsg epic bracers for 50.
I figure I WSG so much anyway that I'll have enough marks and honor to afford the epix anyway when I get to them.
Unfortunately, my warrior is 1,000 rep from revered with the outriders.. I sort of didn't realize he was that close until last night... want that sword and bow ><
I still hope the patch is out today though because I can't wait to go mace spec with my rogue... whee I'm excited.

No not retired ... It's just that my Priest hit Exalted w/ AB and WSG and got to rank 9 (didn't bother w/ 10 cause I have 2 better headpieces, and the AB shoulders) and I just have little to gain from PvP'ing. I hit up ZG sometimes for fun and I have an open invite to run MC w/ a guild on my server (too bad they only raid Saturday nights, the one night I never ever play)... but aside from that there is little to do until the patch comes out.
Once the patch comes out, I'll probably set my eyes on the Marshall chestpiece and Grand Marshall staff ... but until then there isnt much for my Priest.
Even though the patch didn't come out today, I slept well last night ;)
