Some handy forum tips.

People don't like subjects in capital letters. It can be quite annoying.

Don't post your email address unless you want to be flooded with spam.

I don't know what class you are, so it's hard to say where you could get weapons, but...

You can get weapons and armor from quests, NPCs, or the auction house. Just keep playing, you will find them.

Weapons are obtained a number of ways in the game.

1) First of all, finding them. Killing an enemy and one drops from them, not the choice method.
2) Buying them from the Auction house, always a good method, although not the best. You can buy some decent items, but they are pricey, too pricey for a first time character most times.
3) Quests, always a good option. Complete the quests with items you can use first.
4) Running instances, getting drops from an instance is probably the best way to get the best gear and they dont cost $$.

At level 5 there isnt much to choose from instance wise but once you hit 15-20 everything will open up to you. :)

Do quests. Weapons and better armor will often be quest rewards. Also, as you kill mobs for quests a weapon may may drop of one of the mobs. When you get to be a little higher level, you will go into dungeons where more loot will be rewarded off the mobs and bosses. If you take up a gathering profession or 2 to earn some extra cash, you can also buy weapons from vendors or the auction house.

Please don't put your email into forums. You are just begging for more spam.

Listed? As in "publicise email"?

There's a difference between having your email shown under your account information and posting it in a thread on a forum which can be viewed by anyone.

An email scanner would sweep through this thread and pick up the email address. You would then start receiving spam from various companies.

Often they compile all the emails and sell them on the Black Market of Spam. A list of emails is a list of potential customers and is pretty valuable. Perhaps you're not getting any spam now, but if/when they sell the list to a spammer, you'll get flooded.

I receive inbetween ten and twenty spam mails every single day.

My record was during the summer holidays while I was in France. When I came home two weeks later, I had 318 spam mails in my inbox.

If you go to any major city you will find an auction house,
Not sure for alliance, most likely stormwind, ironforge, and darnassas?

For horde, thunder bluff, origrimmar, and undercity.

If your having trouble finding the auction houses, or anything at all, ask a gaurd in the city and they will give you directions.

Then you got the cross faction auction houses at gadgetzan and winterspring. You wont find much good stuff there though.

Part of the fun of the game is figuring this stuff out... just run around and explore.. immerse youself a bit.... hold your mouse over NPC's (the "people" that populate the towns), and it will tell you what it is, if it's a weapon vendor, guard, etc. If there is a round icon with a little yellow arrow that means you can talk to them if you right-click.

We were all new once... just explore, run around, click on stuff.... you'll get the hang of it...press "M" for the map so you know where you are.
