Does anyone know if there is a way to turn of the text box that comes up in the lower right hand corner of the screen when you mouse over players? I've looked in the Interface Options menu and nothing I checked or un-checked worked. Or, if I can't turn it off, is there a way to make the box appear in a different place on my screen?

I have a few, including MobInfo2, Bongos, Titan, CTRaid and a few others for like fonts and stuff. No matter what I scroll over, Chairs, Doors, Mobs, People etc.. the info box comes up in the lower right hand corner. I tried turning off the tooltips and stuff like that and that didn't help.
One of those mods probably anchors the tooltip to the corner.
If you can't figure out which one it is try disabling your mods from the character screen one at a time and logging back in to see if it changes.
Once you figure out which mod is doing it you can check out the options for that mod to see if you can change it.

To the best of my knowledge, with certain specific exceptions, the default position of the tooltip window is in the bottom right corner.
The ct-mod pack has an option to move the tooltip to the top center of the screen, which was the original postion of the default until the second or third patch. The ct-mod pack option doesn't affect the exceptions where the tooltip appears at the cursor position.
If you wish to have control over the position of the non-exception tooltip windows beyond the bottom right corner or the top center of the screen, I suggest the mod Tooltip Wrangler available at CurseGaming.
