Personally I like shamans, but since they are on the horde, I can't hang out with my guildies the entire time. I only have a tauren shaman up to level 7 because of that. One of the first things that I will do is make a tentacled shaman.

As Horde, I know some people are flaming about getting pallys, but they won't really be that bad for us. With shammys+pallys on the same side...the benifits from them in raids will be endless. All in all, sure we may not initially want pallys, but in the end it will be a great addition. I'm sure Alliance probably feels the same way about shammys.

actually we're great with getting shamans. they're pretty good in PvP (earthbind totems ftw) and they're good with raids. i can see why horde doesn't want paladins though, they're not good for PvP and they already have shamans for the extra non-priest/druid healing. so yeah, horde is gettin the short end of the stick although alliance has had to deal with not having shamans since release so i dont feel bad for horde...

Well, The problem is that Paladins (most noticeably in PvP) are quite possibly the hardest of any class to kill. But in the same respect, they deal the least amount of damage in return.

Paladins are forces to be reckoned with, in a party, they shine the best when they make the other players look good. With all manner of blessings, auras, heals, cleanses, etc. Horde right now especially in BGs, seem to be a LOT more team-oriented, and Paladins will make an excellent addition to their ranks.

Alliance, (at least from my opinion and experience) Seem to usually fall short in the damage catergory of PvP. With an excessive amount of Priests, Druids and Paladins already, adding Shaman to the mix will effectively boost our Damage dealing capabilities quite a bit, and will make the playing field a LOT more even in the 20-29 BGs with both sides having access to Ghost Wolf.

All in all, i welcome the change. And you'll be seeing my Big blue ass running around on Uldaman in no time.

I was just in a BG tagging along with a Pally, and as a Rogue. God, it was next to impossible to kill either of us 2v2 and 3v2 if I got the jump on one of them. Not sure about the gear/skill differences but I never thought Pallies were that diehard in BGs till today.

I don't care much for mixing the classes, except now I have another plate-wearer to worry about in BGs.
