My hunter is a 300 gnomish engineer, and I use my battle chicken and mithril dragonling quite often, especially if my hunter pet dies, they make for a good back-up pet. They're even handier since they don't share the same cooldown timer.

Now I know the pets level is based on your engineering level, so they are level 60 since my engineering is 300. My question is there some place where I can see what their stats are? I'm curious to see what their DPS, AC, resistances are.

My engineering is at 251 I think on my warrior. I used my dragonling in ST last night and it died almost instantly. I was not impressed.

I dont think you can see what their stats are. You might get their DPS if you send it in and watch your DPS meter without actually attacking anything yourself.

I use my mith dragonling often. Eng is at 254. Used it ST it was hitting around 80dmg a hit about the same speed as your average 2h sword. For a guesstimate

Smiley: lol

I summoned it, charged into a group of nonelite dragon whelps, looked over at my dragonling and he was hitting something, got through one dragonwhelp and my dragonling was dead.

My dragonling didn't die from damage in ST this past weekend even though it was attacking the Shade of Eranikus (sp?). It eventually timed out and died because the battle lasted so long.
The battle chicken is my favorite, it sits there and pecks for like 1 dmg/hit, then it gets enraged and turns red and starts doing massive damage. It then leaves you with a 5 minute buff (iirc) called "Battle Squawk" that increases your attack speed.

In that case he was assisting. I probably should have done that instead of letting him tank the whelps.

He did take Arugal from SFK to about 25% on his own though. Smiley: lol that was funny to watch.

Especially if you take the time to level your engineering early. Nothing like pulling out a level 60 pet for help when you aren't even level 40 yet.

Whats the trick to level eng from 250 to 300? All of my orange items take a million things to make and really isnt very efficient. Do i need to pony up the cash and buy some recipes?
