Shadow Ward now has a new rank (Rank 4) available as item loot in dungeons. The amount of damage absorbed by this ward was increased substantially on all ranks.

I laughed.

Now they really have become gods...

At least fear is being fixed.

Fear needed fixing. It was already way too reliable. Between only the pvp trinket and WOTF and the diminishing return the opponent could get Feared a third time and run the risk of not being able to control their character's movement for 5 seconds if damage didn't happen to break it as it eratically moves out of range of any spells the Warlock might attempt to cast, at superhuman speed.

maybe i missed it, but wasn't there supposed to be auto-raid-forming for BG's ?

I think they said that will be 1.12, but not this patch. I think that will have a defenite benefit.

I read from some folks on the PTR that the hunter FD/pet attack exploit in neutral towns had been fixed, but I don't see it in the notes.. can anyone confirm or deny this?

That, along with the other stuff that stacks higher, along with the keyrings.. hello extra bag space is right!

It Sucks EVERY patch i get is ruined by ALL the realms being down
#32 Jun 20 2006 at 11:49 AM Rating: Decent
The only thing I wish they would do is add an extra bag slot for hunters and warloks so we dont lose a full bag to arrows and shards...we still carry around two sets of armor like most everyone else in the game and I have a bag dedicated to food and water (pet food in there also) and trickets so that basically leaves me 3 bags to carry the rest of the stuff around in...ok so I am a bit of a packrat with the bank but damn I dont want to destry epics it seems wrong...

Does blizzard compensate players who have items changed from BOE to BOP. I had the shroud of arcane mastery on the AH at the time of the patch. The notes indicate it will change to BOP

Any thoughts?

It must suck if you were rank 14 at one point but have since lvled down a bunch and there was like nothing for you to buy.

Dammit, they should have done that ASAP.

Having a problem downloading this patch from Blizzard. Are we going to have the patch here?

I'm not a noob....there is no reason for me to be having trouble from my end.

Look at all the improvements to shaman! Allow me to feign suprise.

A few things they need to fix is the hunter feign death exploit in neutral towns, and the "in combat" bug, which seems to keep people in combat longer than they should be. Not to mention the inability to bandage yourself while afflicted by a DoT; get a tick of, say, 20 damage, and you get no health but have to wait for recently bandaged to wear off again. And whatever bug caused the guards at Thorium Point to not be guards.

Thankfully there's a guard system in place at Light's Hope Chapel; it seemed that, every day, a group of no fewer than three horde would be camping the Flight Path there. As soon as you touched down, you'd be attacked, honorless target? Didn't matter. And now school's out, so this patch came at a good time...

Can anyone link these?

the key rings do not take up a bag space, they are part of the UI now, and are integrated right next to the latency bar.

Is it me or did they not update the Alliance Ashenvale nonsense flight path? After spending well over an hour on the bird turning in quests yesterday, I really wish they'd fix that.
#41 Jun 20 2006 at 12:41 PM Rating: Decent
Depending on how thy change the PvP rewards, this could suck for everyone else too if their old PvP armor isn't automatically changed to the new verison.

Just spending weeks to get back to Rank10 to rebuy the blues you already have could be quite an annoyance.

* The cost to unlearn talents will now decay over time. This cost will be reduced by a rate of 5 gold per month to a minimum of 10 gold.

Helps with some of the switching I guess.

Yurlen wrote:

* Logging back in after a disconnect from the server has been greatly improved, and players should now rarely receive the message "A character with that name already exists."

w00t! This was horrible, and I'm glad it's fixed.

Yurlen wrote:

* We have re-evaluated the mechanics of consumable items in the game and concluded that these should work in a more intuitive manner. As such, most items that can not be equipped with right click abilities have been streamlined into one of three categories. Using an item of a particular category will trigger a shared cooldown among all other items in the same category. The categories break down as follows with category cooldowns as listed.
- Potions 2 minutes: This includes items such as Health Potion, Mana Potion, Invisibility Potion and Mighty Rage Potion.
- Aggressive 1 minute: This includes items such as explosives, Really Sticky Glue and Discombobulator Ray.
- Non-Aggresive 2 minutes: This includes items such as Healthstone, Night Dragon's Breath, Whipper Root Tuber and Target Dummy.

This sucks. It was great to pot a Whipper root, then NDB. This is gonna take some getting used to.

Yurlen wrote:
* Troll's Blood Potions: These potions have been fixed that so that the health regeneration occurs during combat again.

Yay! Easy potion to sell now. This is gonna be great!

Yurlen wrote:

* Hydraxian Waterlords
- New revered option for Hydraxian Waterlords faction allows players to receive a non-consumable version of Aqual Quintessence

No more swimming!

Yurlen wrote:

* Primal Hakkari Tokens: These items from Zul'Gurub now identify which classes can use them in their item descriptions.

This should speed things up a bit.

Yurlen wrote:

* The Group Loot/Need before Greed dialogue will now show a golden dragon border around Bind on Pickup items.

About time. Maybe this will make it more standard. At least on my server. ML is still my preferred method.

Yurlen wrote:

* The party leader can now reset a dungeon instance from the interface. If the party has recently been inside an instance but is now outside of the instance, the party leader will have a right-click option from their own portrait (where you select the loot UI preference) that is "Reset all Instances". If this is selected all non raid instances will be reset for the party.

Farmers rejoice!

Yurlen wrote:

* When you kill a creature, the combat log will report "You have slain !"

This will end some petty grandstanding....... =)
Yurlen wrote:

* New flight points can be found at Ratchet and Marshall's Refuge, Un'Goro Crater.
* Flight paths added between:
- Morgan's Vigil - Lakeshire
- Revantusk Village - Light's Hope Chapel
- Aerie Peak - Chillwind Point
- Stonetalon Peak - Nijel's Point
- Cenarion Hold - Feathermoon Stronghold
- Cenarion Hold - Camp Mojache
- Cenarion Hold - Un'Goro Crater
- Gadgetzan - Un'Goro Crater
- Crossroads - Ratchet
- Theramore - Ratchet
- Ratchet - Talendris Point
- Moonglade - Talonbranch
- Splintertree - Valormok
- Hammerfall - Revantusk Village
- Camp Mojache - Freewind Post

Yay! This is awesome

From what I'm told you have to rebuy the blues, but the epics will automatically update.

I am also looking for a mirror site to patch from. I can't log on to the WoW site(no surprise) and the patch is sticking at 88%. Last time I patched fron here and it worked great.

Indeed, this will kick a great deal of *** when it finally comes. But, on the other hand... I'll kinda miss the cacophony of frantic, simultaneous:

"is there a raid yet?"
"Invite?"
"INVITE?"
"Can I get an invite?"

or, my personal favorite, always in /yell of course:

"inv pls!!!1!!"

Ah, truly it will be the end of an era.

WTF?? Paladins are going to need reagents to judge SoC and SoR now? These are like the closes things we have to direct damage abilities. Judging SoR is one of the main ways to keep hate against single targets, and JoC is nice to keep DPS up while soloing. If I'm reading this right the reagents better stack high and be dirt cheap!

Zandalarian Hero Charm is a trinket that increases spell damage. It is activated and once activated you get so many charges to use between cool downs of the trinket. In other words... these Judgements will now correctly use one of the charges, that is all.
