Hello all, long time reader, short time member. I do have 1 question about WoW Reader, and that is where is a legend? Really the only accronym I can not figure out is CP. Thank you in advance for any help in this matter.

On my character profiles, some items are now showing up in foreign languages, like German or Chinese. WTF?

Can't upload the Wr.lua file. It seems to have a recent-ish version of my most played character's profile although I can't upload the file to update it again. I click "Upload" and it spends forever trying to contact the allakhazam server then times out. Had the same problem all day yesterday too.

I also can't load Thottbot anymore either, wonder if it's connected. :O

"Unable to read data from transport connection."

Also, "Heart of the Wild" Druid talent doesn't get counted properly in HP/MP pools. Least when I checked last.

When i start WoWReader i get an error saying:
Quote:
Unable to connect to the remote server.

Then when i press ok i get another message:
Quote:
Version check failed. WowReader is disabled pending update. (expected 5875, got 6005) DONT PANIC! If WoW was patched in the last day or 2, it may take som time for the new version to appear. Please try starting WowReader again to check for updates.

Ive reinstalled WoWReader without any luck and ive waited "a day or 2", but i cant start WoWReader. I even open port 11225 but that didnt do anything. What is wrong?

I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post about it and forgive me if this has been pointed out already.

If you have over 9999g 99s 99c money on your character it doesn't show it correct on your profile, it shows the money on the profile as "none".

Try downloading http://lucy.allakhazam.com/wr/wowreader.exe and replacing your current wowreader.exe with it.

I just installed the wowreader, and when I upload the information I get an error saying Protocol Error: 0. This only seems to happen when it actually uploads something, for instance I had 1 item upload and it gave the error, then I had a creature upload and it did it again. Is there a fix for this? Thank you

Hi, I just downloaded WoWReader, and it installs fine. But, when I try to launch the program, I get and 'Error' window with the text:

'Fatal Execution Engine Error (0x7927e03e)' and an 'OK' button.
I click OK and I get a Debug window with the following:

'Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Process id=0xad0(2768), Thread id=0xf28(3880).
Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.
' and an 'OK' and a 'CANCEL' button.

Help?!?!?!

We recently made some changes to the upload server to improve performance, but inadvertently introduced a bug that was causing a few people to get locked out. It should be fixed now, so post again if you have any more trouble.

There seems to be something wrong with your .NET installation. Try installing .NET 1.1 SP1 - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=A8F5654F-088E-40B2-BBDB-A83353618B38&displaylang=en

I tried searching the logs by your username but couldn't find anything. Do you have it set to log in? It should say something like: "Login: Rockstarking, Profiles: 1 waiting." if you have it set correctly.

Is it possible to have an Allakhazam profile be on a website? Like how you can with thottbot? Instead of linking to the profile page, just having it displayed on a page instead of a link to it?

I Can't connect to your server. I tried pinging your server from 3 different location, and i only get timeouts... Are you having problems atm?

I just downloaded WoW Reader and set it to login with my username and password. as well as setting my firewall to alow it. When I hit "Upload" though I get the message: "Connection error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it".

But when I press "OK" the value under uploaded on the Lua Data row does go up. So I am not sure if it is actually working or not?

Edit: I ignored it and went back to playing and about another two hours I closed WoW and opened up WoW Reader and it successfully uploaded my information. Weird. I guess it fixed itself.

The upload server was down for a few hours this morning, so if you were having trouble then, try again.
