I disagree, I think they care, thats why they try so hard to make the servers correct... thats just my opinion.

Since Tuseday maintenence I haven't been able to get my characters back, despite a successful login... Any suggestions?

It seems that maintenance started a little early this time around. I was questing when suddenly I was logged out. It was around 7pm pst.
Nah, that's most likely server problems. It happens every now and then.
btw it's 2 PM eastern.

The maintenance today has gone horribly, all servers are down still and it is 5:20 PM Pacific Standard Time, they hoped to have it resolved by 5 and it's 20 after. All the lagging and session timeouts are starting to become redundant, it's just as bad as Final Fantasy XI in a way. Hopefully the issues will be resolved around 6 at the latest, I'd like to get back on Darkspear instead of ******* around on Crushridge...

yeah, i cant even connect or get to the realm list or character reteveal screen. It just says connecting, then says unable to connect. Also, the forums and the realm list on the wow official site are down. Does this have anything to do with the servers going down.

hooray for scheduled maintenace! I'm sure that servers will come back up at 11AM somewhere in the world, hmm, 5:30 pacific and still no suramar, I think I'm entitled to a lil bit of whining privaleges now

Okay, this is getting stupid. I am patient, I switced from DAoC to this? I like the game play of WoW, but they are going to have to start reducing the price if they are going to hose up the servers this often!

I disagree... Tuesday is ***** up the server day..... and try to get a responce on the website... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... I am JC Fool... but if you think you will get a response.. or that the website will work... you are a bigger fool than i am!

Can anyone else log in to World of Warcraft the game or the site?

Strange thing is, I was actually logged on and played for a couple of hours on Lothar between about 3-5 PM Eastern. I got a message at one point that I would be logged off in 20 seconds due to inactivity -- after I'd been hunting pretty non-stop for a while. Something obviously was wrong, maybe it was related to the current downtime.

Well, I do like knowing what day they are doing the patches but, I got to log in for 2 mins this afternoon and was immediately bumped out. So, am I supose to feel lucky I got on for 2 mins?? Thank you for letting me spout, I know, not supose to do any whining on here but, this really is a bad patch day. seriously.

NO kidding I spent all day today looking forward to getting on after work since I got booted last night from Malfurion and now I still can't get on or get any answers as to why the realms are down since the official site is fragged to hell and back. With all the money we pay out the least they could do is make it at least semi-reliable. Maybe that is just to much to ask. Now we know why there is no release date for the expansion pack yet. They can't get they basic game running effeciently.
I noticed when you first launch WoW, before going to the login screen, that it says "Gates of Ahn'Qiraj Opened" on the realm of Medivh. Perhaps this programming in conjunction with patch day has caused one too many problems. Dunno, just an idea.
Although, for those that stroll through the forums, I did find this tidbit:
"We are in the process of working with our network provider to identify and resolve the issues surrounding the realms at this time".
It's possible that the servers are fine, but there might be a networking issue that just occurred unexpectedly (bad timing). I know something similar happened once with EQ where they had an unexpected power outage (again, bad timing).

I'm willing to bet these problems have to do with whatever new content they're implementing. The time is currently 2030(8:30pm)at the time of this post.
