I must admit the all boobs all the time mod seems a little excessive. But I could see the attraction of just moding the Succubus, because if you aren't a Warlock you don't see them that often.

Hiya guys. I've downloaded this program and it's awesome. I changed my mount to an Epic Undead Mount, and I love it. But the only problem is this: http://img302.imageshack.us/img302/9940/helpe2ud.jpg The texture is very screwed up. And it gives me the chills. :P How do I fix this?

You can fix it by not using exploits.

Well, Night Elves are supposed to be nocturnal, right? So they wouldn't have tan lines, would they? I' referring to the post about the tan lines on page 1

You don't. You have the most screwed up goat in Azerothean history and now everyone is going to laugh at you.

Oh wait....no one else can see it so it doesn't matter. Well, if you get tired of looking at it, give it some boobs like the other folks have been doing. Put boobs ALL OVER IT and then post a picture here. That would be a hoot(er horsie).

Okay, I guess I failed to post my previous post. When I get around to it, there are alternative ideas for installers to pursue. In the meantime, though, the approach taken should work, and it could be a very simple fix.

I have been given all the information I asked for, and I do see a problem, but the problem doesn't occur on my machine. It could be helpful to have a volunteer (or more) do the following:

1) Make sure you do not have GoGet.Bat or anything in DLTools\ except for WGet.Exe
2) Get GoGet Debug version which isn't likely to fix anything, but is likely to give me some useful information so more people can successfully run GoInst.BTM.
3) Rename GoGetDB.Bat to GoGet.Bat and put it in WoW's DATA\ directory (where Texture.MPQ is).
4) WGet.Exe in WoW's DATA\DLTools\ directory (which should be created).
5) Run GoGet.Bat, which is GoGetDB.Bat that you renamed.
6) Copy and paste the output, especially the last screen, into a message/post for me. Also send me a copy of GoGet1.Txt.

Thanks in advance to those who'd like to help.

Due to multiple requests, I have now updated the Patchin' Batch page to include downloads for each of the individual tools. At this time, I don't think it's necessary to manually download all of the tools that GoInst.BTM uses. It seems the problem lies in GoGet.Bat, so unless you know you're successfully running GoInst.BTM, I would say there's no need to manually download anything other than the unzipper, WGet, 4DOS, GoInst.BTM, and perhaps GoGet.Bat. (Ideally people should be able to get just GoGet.Bat and WGet, and so I'm awaiting results from GoGetDB.Bat as I described above, so that GoGet.Bat can start simply working better for other people's systems.

(The edit on the previous message was the change the linked URL to the file I was actually hoping people to use, not the same old version people were already using.)

Okay, due to the heavy response for my request for assistance (none, actually)... okay, so not due to that at all. Due to the fact that I happened to get my hands on a Windows XP machine, I have found what I believe is the problem people have been having. So, I worked around an incompatibility which I found exists with Windows XP. Users of non-NT-based operating systems can probably use the old version of GoGet fine, , as well as people who don't have a space in the directory. For the rest of you, though, I created an update (which should work just as well for even those people who didn't need to update). So, I am no longer requesting that people use the GoGetDB.Bat link above. I managed to do so myself.

Preliminary testing suggests that the new version I've made will work better on Windows XP machines. Of course, at the first sign of initial success I decided I should get what little sleep I can tonight since even that amount won't be enough, so only minimal testing has been done. In fact, I haven't fully tested things, but I tested things enough to have a tiny bit of reason to believe that maybe things might, if all is completely lucky beyond all reasonable expectations, work. Cross your fingers :)

"First, a check for any files that are needed:" is as far as this version goes before stalling out. Further than the last version, at least!

You might want to practice shading a bit. And the nipples are off. ;)

TOOGAM;
lol, are you telling us that you spent so much time trying to fix it, and the real problem was that we were on different operating systems? :P

EDIT:

This means that GoGet.Bat has performed it's task, which is significant progress.

What problem are you saying GoInst.BTM has then? "Stalling out". You mean an endless loop, a program freeze? What else does it output? (Using the newest version to answer this question would be most useful. I've updated it.)

I changed the link since, as my last post indicated, I've replaced GoGetDB.Bat with the updated GoGetXP.Bat.

I knew very well that I'm not using Windows XP. Still, things work fine on my system, and so I've volunteered some time to help others experience the same success.

The main reason I managed to get things working as well as I have so far now, after only 30 minutes on a Windows XP machine, was the one feedback report I've received. A main reason I haven't been making updates to fix any problems is that, with a single exception, I haven't been seeing any reports of the results they've been getting.

Maybe this will help you out a bit more:

D:\World of Warcraft\Data>gogetxp
This file may delete files. It is designed to try to delete only what it makes,
so as to clean up after itself. It isn't likely to delete files it didn't make,
but in case there is an error and it does, you've been warned.

This file may re-run itself multiple times: Just press a key when you see this
same starting text. Each time you do, progress is made (if all is working).

Current directory should display on next line
D:\World of Warcraft\Data
Pause
:jpfound
Warning: Low environment space detected. Unknown minimum (probably at least
1,732), you might want more by running another copy of the shell with /E:32767
(%Compsec is D:\World of Warcraft\Data\4nt.exe)
Please press a character-generating key, like the space bar, to continue...

TOOGAM's Patchin' Batch, Nudity Patch for World of WarCraft
GoInst.BTM: September 25, 2005. Runs MakePosh.Bat if needed.
There are no restrictions on using, modifying, or distributing this file.

[Batch line 52] free in environment
You are now running GoInst.Btm from within a JP Software product. This
means that if GoGet.Bat was used, it succeeded in its primary task.

Please press a character-generating key, like the space bar, to continue...
First, a check for any files that are needed:

And that is as far as it goes. It stops there and does nothing when left to its own devices for up to half an hour.

Level 2 gives her green nipples, right?
#1448 Sep 29 2005 at 6:29 AM Rating: Decent
Yes, thank you fianor. A clear description of problem is useful. I looked at code again and, once again, changes I'm sure I made weren't there. I gotta keep better track of files, I guess.

The batch file does output pretty regularily. When working, I wouldn't expect it to ever go a few seconds without printing something.

I changed things a bit, which just might fix things, or if not, should give more output to help. Please delete GoInst.BTM from DATA\ and DATA\DLTools\ if it exists, and try again. Where it says the date, the newest GoInst.BTM should say:
GoInst.BTM: September 28+, 2005. Can run MakePosh.Bat. Core srch outputs. Smalr

If it doesn't, try deleting GoInst.BTM and manually grabbing GoInst.BTM from another location. (The GigabitAdult mirror site was down late last night and also early this morning so it wasn't able to get updated. I'll update that when I can.)
