on a side note: my girlfriend was kind enough to point out something a little disturbing...

In the spirit of this thread, head to elwyn forest, then check the map, and tell me what *you* think "Fargodeep Mine" looks like

Put the candy bar in your pocket and make it look like a gun. Pick an old feeble clerk who won't know the difference.

That could work, except all the banks are closed right now.

Why go into the game and move someone to Elwynn instead of just looking at an online map?

Basically, your own kind (not necessarily YOU) killed this thread... we are just playing in its ashes...

Just because you're trying to kill the thread doesn't mean that referencing it as already dead is going to make people think you've been successful. It was not untypical for there to be a period of more than 24 hours where there wasn't a positive development in the ongoing effort of delivering certain options not built into the version of the product with the ESRB T-rating. So some people have managed to add some off-topic content... There still isn't an established alternative home for the on-topic content, other than this thread on this board, so if someone did have some on-topic news to report, this thread remains a most logical posting point. Conclusion: banana and buttface and person with foul-mouthed acronym are only deluding themselves if they feel they've accomplished anything significant against their "opposition", but Zetan has the right approach: not trying to outfight or convince anyone who gets their jollies out of disrupting something that some other people were enjoying. Trying to reason and use logic to turn around a thread spammer will do little good.

If "success" is obtained, that is, if those who were posting on-topic move elsewhere, then perhaps an alternate location will be a new home to any further progress and developments, and one can reasonably imagine that those who were driven away won't feel a need to read the congratulatory messages of those who'll surely gloat over their victory. Until that time, though, no victory has yet been accomplished over those who took the thread seriously. (If anything, this may ultimately end up reducing the number of non-contributers who read through all their pages and then make requests that get largely ignored, simply because they'll be less likely to read through all of the pages. Not to say that will necessarily eliminate the tendancy for any of them to still make requests.)

I try to stay out of the spamming nonsense on this thread, even when there are references to my ******* (just how much time did these people even put in, in order to research my gender? Assumptions abound!), but I felt the above-quoted statement was so woefully inaccurate that it was worth pointing out so that nobody gets the wrong idea.

Ok, as the official forum translater, I should take a crack at this. Jibberish with a bigger vocabulary is still jibberish.
I'm going to flame the spammers with nonsense then claim I'm not really doing that because they made references to my *******, why on earth would anyone assume I'm a 12 year old boy when I'm posting links on page 18 of a forum thread showing everyone how I managed to get the nipples on my NE model *just right* (tell me what you think, but only if you like it).
That should clear things up...

What is this $2 per month you refer to? Is that the price of being a premium member of a forum service?

As multiple people have already contributed to the thread, and it unknown how many different people would continue to, I admit to being too cheap to per $2 per month per person (for a completely unknown amount of people) who might or might not ever be of some benefit. Just the sheer notion of needing to pay anything would ward off a great number of people who are too cheap, or perhaps just too private and untrusting of the Internet to share their card number. Having a publicly-accessible place is the only way these sort of projects thrive.

Toogam, only one person needs to pay. Then, that person will have their own journal (which is it's own forum) then everyone can post there.
