Anyone new to this thread and looking for nude patches should check out the first post on page 13. I've listed and linked to every nude patch created here. It's a bit of a read, but it's worth it.

So, has anyone tried skinning celebrities into games? Nudes have been done, so whats next?

A quick question (actually, it's a bit longer)

I have managed to understand the principles of this. I have transformed my male dwarf to a female night elf quite smoothly, yet I still seem to get my dwarf's face. I have used MyWarcraftStudio to make my dwarf's upper and lower face into that of the night elf (I have made sure that I am using the correct faces). Yet, the face still shows up. Do I also need to edit his skin pattern? Or what am I doing wrong? Thank you for taking the time to address this. I would show a screenshot, but I am unaware of how to (I'm a bit of a techie, but not much.)

To take screen-shot, simply hit the hit the button called [Prt Scr] on your keyboard. The screenshot is then saved in a folder called, very appropriately, "screenshots" in the wow-index.

Right, but it is saved as a .tga, and cannot be uploaded on photobucket.com

So open the Targa, and "Save As..." making sure to chose JPEG as the format.

Not everyone has a program to open Targa images. Sure, PhotoShop and PaintShopPro handle them easy, but those both require money or piracy. A lot of people are running on what their computer came with. MS Paint doesn't cut it when it comes to TGAs.

I did a quick search and found a freeware program that should do the trick just fine. Havn't tested it myself, but the program is at http://www.stintercorp.com/ic.php and should convert the targa files into jpegs quite easily. Let me know if it works for you, I'll add it to the list of useful links on my super-post.

Here is my dwarf thus far. He has the Night Elf Female body, as well as the hair and upper facial hair. However, the faec is grotesque. The weak of stomach should not venture into this :)

BTW, the Image Converter worked wonders. It's only a 15 day trial, though.

MyWarcraftStudio stopped working. I get a popup error that reads:

Fail to load CursorCraft.dll!
The program will terminate!

I know everyone's on the topic of these skins and models, but I figured maybe someone's ran into this problem and solved it. If so, do let me know. If not, then I will kindly excuse myself..

Try Irfan View it's free.

Is there a way to change the size of a model. I would like a Ragnaros pet but he's so freakin huge. Like it's done in this movie

I have a question:
I, personally, hate Night Elves, but love High Elves, so I've decided to change the Night Elf model for the High Elven one.
Now, how do I do it :/?
Specially since the HE model is whited-out while the NE model is normal.
Can someone help me? Thanks.

Replacing the model should be easy enough. Just extract the HighElf.m2 (or whatever it's called) and rename it NightElfFemale (or Male).

However I'm not sure about the skins since Night Elves have more textures.

To the one who has found the "face" issue... I just thought I'd mention, you're not alone. I discovered such a thing as well.

I'm wondering why a thread with the topic 'cyber nudity' reached 817 posts.

Maybe I should go out more.. to like.. LANs and stuff.. meet other nerds and learn the rules of the testosterone filled cyber manhood.

Toogam, if you're still checking this topic, it seems your make-everything-invisible patch doesn't include any of the textures in the patch.MPQ file, just the regular ones. If or when you decide to release another, that might be a nice update. Or if anyone can explain the process of creating a batch file to rename things, that would be handy. I've tried a couple manually, but it's painfully slow.

It's not about making them have human skin tones, it's about making them look more like vampires than rotting zombies.

If you notice, the nude patch folders for undead are labled "Scourge", which I guess to mean that at one point Blizzard was going to make the undead be a part of the Scourge, but decided to split them off into the Forsaken after the art had alreeady been completed.

Given that the Forsaken are not fully dead - they still eat (Cannibalize or regular), need to breathe (slow breath bar, but still have one), are healed by bandaging as well as holy energy, etc. it seems they still have a metabolism of sorts. They should look like humans that are extremely pale and emaciated, but they should not have all the flesh missing from their bones at the joints.

Now I am doubting it'll ever get done, unless Blizzard releases an expansion that updates the graphics like the Luclin one did for EQ, but it would be nice for the Forsaken to look the way they should instead of like members of the Scourge.

That is because of the nerfage that happned from Beta to Gold. The Forsaken WERE Scourge. We were Marked as Undead. Unlimited breath. Immune to poison, charm, fear (basically WOTF 24/7). We could be shackled and PLD could use their anti-Undead spells on us. Eventually they changed PC Forsaken to work like normal Humanoid mobs, and nerfed racial traits. Forsaken don't need to eat though. At least thats what the Inn keeper in Brill says.
