Im not sure you understood.
Hair Styles are part of the Character Model.
Each Race+Sex has its own set.
Example Trolls have about 5 (Including Bald) (which uses no model)
And Night Elves have about 7 (Not Including Bald)
Bald is probaly Hair Style 0.
which would explain why aGb's Elf mod is Bald.
aGb the Hair styles are attached to the model.
Once Again I Point Thee Here.
Gnomish Femme Model
As you can see all the Hair styles Roughly bunched up, along woith the model for robes, Tabards and Bracers and also the 3 cloak models (Not shown).
I Hope this is finaly Cleared up.

I have been trying to covert my NE into a female goblin, but all my attemps to convert the female goblin textures from BLP to BMP with the WoW image converter don't work, each texture just produces an
"this type of bitmap compression isn't supported yet" error?
I have tried everything I can think of, but I am no expert. There maybe a way round this? I hope. Strange thing is all the male goblin textures convert ok, just not the female ones?

can anyone tell me what the .blp files are for the Devilsaur Gloves i've been trying for about 3 hours now to find them with zero luck.

Okay I decided to release it to the public. Below are the textures I made for Human, Undead, and Night Elf female player characters. I'm taking this file down after 3 days so I'd appreciate it if anyone is able to host the file for me somewhere else. If you can do this please e-mail me at sandrae_wow @ yahoo.com

Wow Sandrae those skins look incredible... good job.
I've been messing around with the character .m2's a little bit with the only thing I've found that could edit them (someone posted it a while back) Ultimate Unwrap 3D... they're a mess sadly... so many layers. But then my 3D skills are pretty weak. They should seriously implement a hair salon/barber shop in a patch soon dammit.

I have been playing around in the mpq files some hours now. For those of you who want barbie doll nudity in WoW the solution is not to extract a texture and overwrite this with another file with the same name. In case you want to change a texture to anotehr existing texture then yes, this way works. But otherwise you need to edit a whole different mpq file. Becuase if you overwrite a texture file with bogus or a tga WoW-client will give you a serious of render glitches. For example the texture affected will at times not be visible to you. But I found a real easy way to prevent the client to render those underwear textures. Simply, point it to texture files that does not exist.
And its really easy to, at least if you got a decent file editor.
1. Open up dbc.MPQ in MyWarcraftStudio
2. Extract CharSections.dbc - From what I have been able to discern this archive store information of which character texture applies to what model.
3. Open up CharSections.dbc the text editor of your chooice, now do a search/replace all of "Nude" and replace it with something else. In my CharSections.dbc I changed all "Nude" to "Utter", this will make the client try to apply a none existing texture, and as it isnt there ignore it. Voila!
Btw, dbc.MPQ store a hell of alot interesting stuff. I am currently looking into the possability to create my own Emotes. That would be, combining "/me (does somenthing)" with an emote animation and give it a name that I can call inside WoW-client like any other emote. Would be real cool. Doubt if it would work serverside do, since emotes probably are sent as "emote1, emote2 ..." :\
P.S. I used UltraEdit32 text editor, but most good editors have a replace all function I suppose.
OR: You could just download Sandrae's blp files for actual nudity, I guess it depends whatever you'd like your client x-rated or not ;)

I have changed my male undead into a female night elf and you cant make the torso nude because the males dont have a file for it. Is there anyway you can make it so they do? I also tried changing the shirt he wore to the night elf nude upper torso but there is still a part of the shirt showing and I cant change it to anything because the night elf torso is only one file not split into 2 lower and upper. Any suggestions here?

Ok while i dont admit that the nude mods are.. interesting, to say the least, i am more interested in my armor and weapons
I am doing fine with skins, that is, anything that doesnt have its own model (gloves textures, chest, legs boots etc).
however, I am running into a problem with Weapon, Shoulder, and Helm models+skins
Sometimes, I can get the proper model i replaced to show up ingame, but sometimes i cant.
when I am able to, such as turning Engraved shoulders model to the models of Giantstalker shoulders, but now the engraved shoulders skin (banded red armor) is stretched over the giantstalker pads.
any thoughts on how to make the textures i renamed, show up properly?
