Doomulus Prime <=> Optimus Prime (transformers)
One of my favorites is the constable in Stormwind that is named Lenny McCoy, a reference to Law and Order (Lenny Briscoe and Jack McCoy).
And the Ghostbuster references crack me up... Egan's Blaster, crossing the streams, etc.
I love Ghostbusters... GHOSTBUSTERS! We're ready to believe you!

Here's a couple:
There's a character somewhere named Finkle Einhorn from 2 characters from Ace Ventura: Ray Finkle and Lois Einhorn.
Also, the "organization" in SW: SI-7 maybe a nod to the organization in the TV show "Alias" called SD-6?

Nope. It's still a pop-culture reference, though. It originated in the Foxtrot comic strip, which makes references to WoW (callled World of Warquest in the comic) occasionally. There was an item called Doomulus Prime featured in one strip, and it got added to the actual game. If someone could link the one strip, that'd be great.
