Regarding accounts...
My family has three accounts for WoW (with a possibility of adding two more) however it seems the WoWReader system will only allow me to upload data for two accounts - the first two I started uploading character data for.

Is there a way to create profiles for all my family's accounts, or would someone else have to get their own Alla's Premium?

I found a fix for this problem - if you did a windows update lately - it added a .netframework application this is the proplem if you are using 2000 pro. The latest updates apprently caused a lot of problems with 2000 pro if you are using as a stand alone. You don't need the .net stuff

For whatever it's worth I just paid for a full year of access.

So, yes... we want our Mac version!

Is it a priority? How long has it been in the works? My apologies but an app that handles parsing and uploading data shouldn't take too long...

Wowreader doesn't support multiple characters.
Well, that's basicly it.

On the last few uploads to the site, I've noticed that a few items in my profile have not been updated. They still show the items before I had replaced them.

Any clue on how to correct this issue? Or would just deleting the character from my character list and let the reader re-upload them freshly do the trick?

Thanks in advance!

MAC bump! I know you're working on it. Just wondering if there is an ETA or if you need testers.

I can't help it but WowReader does not work for me. Installation, update etc. went fine, the addon is working etc. it finds the characters and guild but no items, no quests, no stats, no nothing. The statistics in the little window read Items 0 / 0 / 0, Quests 0 / 0 / 0 etc.

What did I do wrong? oh, btw, I am using the German client.

You would have noticed that you're not the first german client user with that problem and solution was promised *points some posts upward* ;)

and btw, I've got exactly the same problem: german client, lots of 0s in the wowreader status window, empty profile :)

I did notice that, indeed. But I noticed as well that it says under current issues:
- Blank profiles from non-english servers.
. Should be fixed now - if anyone runs into this again, let us know.

What I did. :)

Well, same here....

Could anyone give us a statement about the progress of the non-english version problem?

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file not currently in use.

Same issues, WoW reader appears to not be working as intended.

I downloaded and installed wowreader March 1, it captured the information for the one character I played after installation. http://wow.allakhazam.com/profile.html?57416

Since then however, it will not update the character. I can run wowreader and it says patching, click refresh, and then update, and get a response that there is no data to send. Since I have levelled, spent talent points, and changed gear, I know there is stuff to update.

It has also captured data on other characters I have played, but again, the data is old and not being updated even if the character has changed.

I run wowreader after I have exited WoW completely. Should WoW still be running and the characters simply logged out when wowreader is run?

Guess I'll need to repeat myself once again...

WoWReader refuses to patch when I first run it. All that happens is that it gets as far as saying "Patch.xml downloaded" and nothing else happens. I'm not using firewall, router or anything like that. My Installation of WoW is not on the same drive as my OS if that helps.

An update was just posted to fix some issues with german profiles. Also, the logging level in the patcher was increased. If you have any trouble patching, first redownload and reinstall the newest version from the download link, then try running again. If you still have trouble, post the entire patch.log here.

One of my char works now.
But the other one, on the server "Die Silberne Hand" (german) does not show up anything (http://wow.allakhazam.com/profile.html?61340).

Why does one of them work, but the other not ? Wierd.

Now I think I know what went wrong. Instead of downloading the real patch.xml, it seems to download some weird crap from my isp dating back to 2002 about changing me IE settings (Which I didn't need to). Wrong way of using the IE engine to download stuff I think...

So, what can I do about it? Do I have to wait for most of the patcher to be rewritten?

Side Note: Firefox ftw

Edit: Forgot to post patch.log - http://neronix.ath.cx/random/patch.log
