I would love to have a search facility that will bring things up based on braod context searches such as:

MC Attunement
Onyxia Key
Dwarf Abilities

I just wanted to point out, as I'm sure you've heard often before, what Elithomiel sai here, that it would be really good if you could in some way add so we can watch the bank in "WowReader", that would be splendid, thanks.

The addition of bank slots to the Character Profiles.

I know there are some other readers out there that will add this information to a website for OOG access. It would be nice if it could be implemented with WowReader in the same way as bag slots, i.e. with a toggle for public visibility.

Also, given that a lot of the results pages give popups on mouseover, would it be possible to do this with the newest item listings as well ?

If its not alwready possible, id love to be able to search items that come from Rare spawns.

Like in the Itm search where you have static, raid and other options, you could have Rare Spawn.

The DB alwready can search Rare Spawns so it should be able something possible to add :D

A key index.
List the keys for any/all instances and where/how to get them. I find it very exhausting to google and search for hours finding what the key is named and how to get it. This would be a great addition to allakhazam in my opinion. =)

Just noticed this forum, so just pinching in my 2cp on this issue: item searches.

There are a few items out there with seemingly generic stats. Those are the items that have the following suffixes:
- of the Monkey (sta, agi)
- of the Eagle (int, sta)
- of the Whale (spi, sta)
- of the Wolf (agi, spi)
- of the Falcon (agi, int)
- of the Owl (spi, int)
- of the Tiger (agi, str)
- of the Gorilla (int, str)
- of the Bear (sta, str)
- of the Boar (str, spi)
- of Spirit
- of Strength
- of Fire Resistance
- of Arcane Resistance
- of Frost Resistance
- of Shadow Resistance
- of Nature Resistance
- of Arcane Wrath
- of Fiery Wrath
- of Healing
- of Defense
- of Power

... and I probably omit a few here by accident as well.

You cannot search for these items; at least not easily. Even though the item name in the rendered item image says "blahblah of ...", you cannot actually search of "blahblah of" and hope to have it show up. If you search for just "blahblah", it will show up. For example, Hyperion Gauntlets, those have such a suffix. A search for just "Hyperion Gauntlets" will show them (hyperion gauntlets), but "Hyperion gauntlets of" will not (hyperion gauntlets of)

Furthermore, these items with these suffixes will also not show up when you perform an advanced search and weigh your search results based on certain attributes, like INT or STA. I came across this when I was checking out possibly good mail gear for my Shaman who just passed into the 40's and is in need of some armor upgrades. Suffixed items do not show up in the advanced search, even though they are viable alternatives.

When using the quick item lookup, performing the search as I just detailed (like just "gauntlets"), it will show all flavors of the suffixes for items with the search term in the name. Searching for "item of" (like "gauntlets of") will exclude those from the list, however.

Could these items with generic attributes be added to the (advanced) search in one way or another?

Set 'Search Variants' to Yes on advanced search and it will include them.

Ahh, thanks! I didn't fully understand what that field was all about. It makes sense now - thank you!

GFY.

It's a god damned use moderated board. Go to the official forums if you want to troll.

Your lack of understanding suprises me. I rarely post in these forums, but when I do I speak the truth or I take up the side that is losing to see how far the thread can go. I don't troll. I have like 30 posts.

I know its a god damned user moderated board. I want you to look for me, right at the top of the page and see what the thread name is called. It is asking for input. I gave my input yet again and got rated down by people who just didn't like what they saw.

Let me rephrase my statement so that it doesn't offend anyone: I don't think user moderated boards are nice. Perhaps that could be changed?

Is that good enough for you mr sage account? Or do I have to further explain my reasons for doing something totally legal?

You insult without reason.

Well, no. They already moved your post to the suggestion forum earlier. This thread is for things you want added to the site...not removed. Like search options, etc.

So, again, please post in the suggestion forum (even though your other post is there)

And, cause I'm nice: http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=3 <--- Forum Feedback

I'd like the ability to jump to the last post I read in a thread. It gets a little annoying scrolling way down the screen and figuring out where I left off after a bunch more replies got added. But if that's my only annoyance, we're doing good Smiley: smile Just a thought.

I agree ... after level 60 all your doing is gaining rep. I would LOVE to see a Search for quests (or MOBs) by reputation gained to a specific faction.
#641 Mar 17 2006 at 9:02 AM Rating: Decent
About the listed quests in zones. Can u make them listed by level from 1 to 60?
#642 Mar 18 2006 at 9:06 PM Rating: Decent
I'd like the profiles when you view them to shrink down enough that I can go all the way to the rightmost bag and the bottom item and read all the text on a screen set to 1024x768 res.

This may have already been said, but I'd like a sepperate mob value list, where items with less the 1% drop rate, are not factored into the mob value. The charts are always getting messed up because somebody looted something that's worth 300g, but it's been droped off of that mob 1 out of 100,000 kills. I think this would give us a better way to find which mobs to look for.

If it's already been mentioned, then add my vote, but I think one major inprovement that would make the site smoother is "Ajax-ifying" the forum. Let us post replies/comments and rate other people's posts without having to reload the page.

Well, ran into this limitation today, so figured I'd suggest it. When searching items, it'd be nice if it listed more than one page of items, since often times you're not sure what you're looking for and it might be lower down on the list.

Second suggestion, an option to include or exclude "Sold By" options. Today I was looking for common world drops that I could use for a scavenger hunt, and wasn't able to get past the first page (the only one shown) of "sold by" objects.

Anyway, just a thought.

This has probably been stated before but due to so many posts, that quite frankly I do not want to read since this thread has over 600 replies, I will state my request.

1.) I would like to see a faction area to search for a specific faction for mobs to kill, quests to do and what tradeskills are learned by each faction.

2.) I would love a search and sort engine for the quests that is more advanced so a person can sort quests from a range that they wish to look at, location, final product of the quest, and whether it is horde or alliance with the other being filtered out. An Alliance player doesnt want to know what quests the Horde player needs to do for say Ashenvale.

3.) Now, this is a selfish request but I must admit I loved it when I used Alla for EQ1, but I would love a wish list for items that my characters want, and possible upgrade ideas. There was something like that for EQ1 which I REALLY loved. As of right now, I go and look at the different profiles to see what everyone is wearing and how I can possibly upgrade my own armor.

That is just my 2cp :)

Thank you :)

I love that the site can spit out XML sheets based on various bits of info collected. But I would ask is, is it possible to format the XML a little better? Specifically, if you try to bring the XML into a .Net dataset, it won't in it's current state. The profile information uses the tag <values> multiple times for an items attributes if it has multiple bonuses. This causes .Net to try to make a Table of <values> Since this happens more than once. .Net complains because it already made a table called <values> under a different parent table. Simple fix. Change the name from <values> to something to tie it to the parent table. i.e. <ShoulderSlotSubvalues> That's it! Now it can be imported into a dataset so it can be treated like a database of it's own.

I would like to see a picture of our character when we download through WOW Reader. And we could use that as our avatar. Alos I would like to see the quests and let us know which we have completed and which ones we havent. I dont know if you can get that through WoW reader as well. If not that at least of check list of quests we can print out and check off when we have completed them. Or have both online where you automaticly keep track of them.

I would like nordrassil added to the servers list.

Fight path maps would be helpful.
