i noticed that you have the items listed for multi-instance instances like Mara and SM. Perhaps showing the drops in each, (SM--> cath, lib, arm,GY) (Mara---->Orange,Inner,Purple) other than that keep up the good work

Also under the talents I reckon it would be good for peoplt to be able to comment with there own Talent Builds for people to use or look at.

Come to think of it, you COULD create some BBCode tags to do this. In fact, if you wanted to make it REALLY COOL you could make tags like [wowitem](some code)[/wowitem]. You could do what WoW does in it's chat with parsing items into the chat. Doing this for talent builds as well seems fair enough.

Also, to do the talents, if you DO do them, it would be nice for you to make them the same code from the WorldofWarcraft.com talent builders. The format, if you don't want to look it up, is a series of numbers in which each number represents the talent points (rank) of each talent, from left to right, top to bottom (teir 1 to teir x), talent to talent (alphebetically, I believe).

However, for now you could just make one with the WorldofWarcraft.com talent builder and post a link (they DO have a 'save' button that prints out a URL). Still, I like the idea of make item codes embedded into posts. You could just use the codes the site uses like i=n.

I would like to see three things (sorry if these have already been posted)

-it would be very usefull to be able to see what skills a person using WoWreader has, (what they can make with tailoing, alchemy, cooking so on).

-The ability to order quests according to faction gained for completiong at the standard lvl or XP gained at standard lvl or money gained.

-Able to search for quests that are specifically courior quests or grinding quests (so that someone who wants to grind can know where to do it and get some extra XP for it and someone who wants to just town around and maybe explore a bit can get some XP for it). I understand that this one might be a bit difficult to do however.

Edit: oh and thanks for the banners with really hot (and safe for work) chicks on em, makes these 8 hour days a bit brighter.

Well, I don't know if this has been said before, mostly because I'm not going to read through all these pages, but it would be nice to have a complete History of Azeroth.

A connection friendly site, atm I have 1.5mbs connection and this site loads like I have dial up. There is too much to it, make a template that is friendly to people on dial-up or a low connection like that, but make it good, not some dodgy looking one.

Thanks

I actually don't like them. I'm still "young" and I don't really have a problem with them until mom walks by, then I gotta scroll down etc and I can't read all the info I need.

And.... about WoWReader. I've heard lots of things about it having spyware/trojans/etc. PLEASE make an OFFICIAL WoW ADDON in .toc, .lua, and .xml format!!! That is why I submit information to Thottbot and not this, they have a manual upload page for those of us that don't feel like dealing with anything of that kind.

A low bandwidth version.

Wouldn't this void all the ads? Allakhazam has to get money somehow, and then people wouldn't sign up for a no-ads site...

Anyway, 1.5Mb/s is a bit slow for something like WoW, but I guess thats a different discussion.

There one more thing that would be pretty cool, but probably for members-only (figures). A way to have a "wishlist" of items (maybe an end-game armor set) that you can check off when you get them. This is something you could write down, but it could also tell you which one is easier to get (based on the mob it drops from or the value it costs to buy from AH). It could also have a page with all the maps of where the mobs spawn.

The ability to remove your own posts, perhaps within a limited timeframe, due to the site's tendency to mess them up every now and then. (Lots of doubleposts)

well first i'm too lazy to look at all the posts but a mob's by level section would be nice and allow an ignore command on the forums to keep annoying non-constructive posters out (or atleast unable to make annoying replies)

To the above poster saying its the site's fault for double posts: double posts only happen when the poster double clicks the submit button (or more if you're really a moron).

There is a VERY nice History of Azeroth page on the official world of warcraft website under Features > Elaborate Storyline on the left menu. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/story/index.html
Good Read.

Three suggested improvements for items searches. First, add a filter (something similar to the "All drops"/"common drops" button) for item searches by zone that would allow you to see items that are specific to that zone only. That would make it easier to identify the handful of world drops that only drop one place (like the various whelplings). It would also be easier to identify instance specific drops.

Second, add a block in the advanced item search page to view drops, sold items, or both.

Finally, it would be incredibly useful if quest items were easier to find with an item search. The most obvious thing would be to assign a level to the item that correlates to the minimum level required to get the quest. Granted, I'm not sure if that is feasible with the system you have for gathering this data in the first place. As it is now, there isnt an easy way to find out that a reward from a quest I can get at level 48 is better than any of the comparable boss drops that actually have a required level assigned to them by the game in the item description.

We've had all of this for a while on the item comparison page, I've back-ported it to the Advanced Search page.

Searching on meta information like raid/static/quest drops is intended to be a premium feature. I'll leave it up in demo mode for a bit though.

Quest & Trade skill tracking. I can see by the lua file that you can track about anything in the game. It would be nice to ba able to track the quests completed vs the quests available to see what can be done yet. Same thing for trade skills. I am always looking for what leatherworking skills are available yet and where to learn them.

We can't track quest history, because the game provides no mechanism to look up a history of quests done. Tracking your current quest log is being worked on right now.

Trade skill tracking is a possibility, but not soon. Not till after I release the current batch of changes to profiles at least.

Would love to see the additon of Trade Skills known to be uploaded per character.
Nice to be able to see out of game what patterns you know, and possibly a reverse list of patterns you need to know. That way you could start a sort of shopping list of what you need and were you need to go to get them.

Thanks for the great asset to the community.

Could you add the raid/static/quest details to the per-mob and per-zone item lists? It'd be nice to see at-a-glance what items on a boss are static and what are world.

Also you should add zone to the advanced search :)

I can't find my server Drak'thul in any list (on character/guild search). I would be glad if it was added to the lists.

And great site btw ^^.
