What do you want added to the site?Follow

I'd like a better "mob value search". As it is now it's not worth that much. Would be nice if you can search on "median price" on drops and such.. most money comes from AH :D

I'd like to have seperate trade skill forums.

One of the biggest things I want is for WoWReader to adopt the same functionality that WoWRankings (www.wowrankings.com) has for guild roster creation. WoWRankings has the ability to create a full, current, up to date guild roster simply from 1 member logging in and opening the guild tab. With WoWReader, you have to have everyone update their profile individually for accurate information.

If this site had that functionality I would scrap WOWRankings altogether, the site is too slow and I like this one better, especially since I run a guildportal site and you are working together with Aaron to create content. Even you couldn't provide the specific data like tradeskills etc. for the other members when one person submits the roster info, at least having level / class info would go a long way.

3 different suggestions.

1) either generally reset the mob value information each time the game is patched, or at least offer a selection option for the search to allow values to be computed based only on the most current patch. This way changes in the treasure tables can be taken into account.

2) either by default or an option, don't compute values based on quest items.. for purposes of % green or %blue.

3) Allow a quest search based on item time as well as level / location. For example, what quest daggers are available for a level 44 rogue....

I'd like for the Advanced Search to include searching items that are "Blah Blah of ... ". You know the items that can be "Blah Blah of Stamina" or "Blah Blah of Fire Resistance" and so on.

So, say if I do a search and weight it like this:
Sta x2
Fire Resist x1
And min values of say:
Fire Resist 5

And say we have an item "Mickie's Bracers of ... " with the following stats:
200 Armor
10 Stamina
4 Agility

That item would show up in the search, but only the "Mickie's Bracers of Fire Resistance":
200 Armor
10 Stamina
4 Agility
X Fire Resistance

This would really help search for upgrades... and as you can tell, especially for putting together resist gear sets.

The ONLY thing i really want to see is to have the lvls fixed for the proffesions. It IS VERY hard to figure out what i am going to be training next when the lvls are all screwed up on the proffesion page. when you click on something it shows up correctly on the next page. this is a "must fix" in my book as its extremely annoying!

Other than that, i love Alla!

I think a good thing to add to the item search would be a just general Spell damage selection instead of the many that are there. This would make it much easier for casters looking for an increase in spell damage without having to select each one, one by one and hoping to find what they want. This would save time and bandwidth with the reduction in searches needed.

Now that the Honor system is live, I'd sure like to see a section where aproximate CP / Honor ranks could be parsed by server. I think this could be added to the WoWreader in such a way that a char's CP and rank could be used to build a CP range (take the min / max seen for each rank/server). Additionally you could use the total number of players with that rank to aprox. the percentiles for each rank... I'm sure many more useful stats could be added

i would really like to see two things one a honer stm area so we can see how many more kills we need for the next rank and such, will be kinda hard as its still rather new but maybe in the futer. and second for hunters pets an area that shows pet stats and like speed, hps and the like so a hunter can pick his pets better. ie it may be better to train a spider from lvl 32 as oposed to 53 becouse the spider from 32 may end up being much better, i dono maybe im wrong but i think it would help fellow hunters out alot

would be nice to specify a specific zone in the advanced item search. there's an item listing by zone, but that brings up the BoE world drops that have been seen there as well as the whites and greys. would be useful for finding mail items that drop in Zul'Farrak with 10+ agi on em for example.

Possibly a request posted before, I can't see it but anyway.
My guild contains European members playing with foreign copies of the game. Most of the profile seems to work fine with WoWReader, what doesn't is the professions skills page. WoWReader seems to pick up the details and pass them on to the server, but it doesn't come out in the XML feeds. Would it be possible for this to be added?

You can see the guild table here:
http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/guildroster.html?guild=Honour&server=Sylvanas

Mplicit is the first person I noticed the issue with, he actually has leatherworking and skinning skills, as can be seen on his personal profile: http://wow.allakhazam.com/profile.html?95463

how about you add "grey" and "white" to the mob value search options? because many people wanna grind mobs for sell loot, this is often more effective than grinding for 5% green drops.
---
can you calculate the mob value in 2 different ways? first with median prices (i think this is like it's now) and second without median prices, so the value is what a NPC vendor would give you? this would completely change the value of some mobs which are e.g. just 50s worth because they sometimes drop essence of earth...
---
i hate thottbot but it has two nice features:
1. list all "phat loot NPCs" of an instance
2. sort the mobs who drop a certain item by dropchance, not by zone
===
please respond :)

How about splitting Item Sets into PvE sets and PvP sets... and maybe add a class next to them. So that we can see if it's the druid PvP set.. or the Pally one without having to check em all and such

Armor upgrader?

This was my absolute most favorite aspect of eq.allakhazam, and I see good potential for it's value here.

I'd like to see an overview over different pets, and a pet rating function to be able to compare different pets and consider whats the best to use at different levels.

questreader..

like wow reader, but it will download all the quest u have.. then if your a premium memeber u can go to charatcer screen, you can see the quest in there and there all linked to alla database. quests, mobs, npc, drops, etc
this would make things so much easier.
thanks

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but the thread's sort of huge, and as it hasn't been implemented yet:

How about having links to the class talent trees on the main class page under where it links to the class skills and spells?

A "Gnome-o-markerâ„¢"
A "tag" which only Gnomes get smacked on their avatar.

Some ideas for the "Gnome-o-markerâ„¢" visual:

(Btw I got the idea from some Austrian painter ^^)

I would really really really like to be able to have a personal statistics page.

This page would be specific to the data you have submitted via wowreader.

It would show the loot you have looted total mobs killed etc. i think it would be REALLY cool!

PLEASE take intrest in this! Think about it!

It would be nice if the class forums didn't have such a huge header, both in the forum and when you read individual notes. It makes it really inconvenient to read.

I think it would be great if statistics calculated/item could be separated by server. It seems that some items have large variances on them due to population levels (or other reasons) on servers, and it distorts the average and median pricing for each item being tracked for AH sales. I hope this would not be an enormous undertaking to implement, as it would greatly improve the accuracy of the statistics shown on your wonderful site. Thanks.
