Question to those in the know. Isnt this game suppose to be released in like 3 days? Has anyone heard if they have gone gold/ finalized things for release. I havent heard anything, seems like there should be more news on this issue. I hope it doesnt get delayed.
They went gold weeks ago. In a MMO or any PC game for that matter all they need to do is finalize a version that is good enough to be called a gold master. Then in the weeks while discs are being stamped they can tweak and make additional fixes. When players install the game on release day, they download a patch that makes the game current.

I'm sure they went gold way before this date, since stores already have it in stock. They didn't announce its status because of the amount of "OMG THSI GAEM IS BROKEN N NUT REDY!!1" that would've sprung up on the forums. It went gold a long while back, probably after a patch where everyone started crying on the forums, and they decided it would be better to keep it quiet.
As said, stores already have it in stock ready for release right now, to be sold on the 23rd. (apparently some places have sold some already)
The game isnt going to slip past the release date. And, i can comfortably say after playing the beta, the game is certainly ready for release.
