I read somewhere on these sites that there is a command "y" that lets you look behind you while mobs are chasing you. Didn't seem to work for me in open beta. All the others like b = open bag, m = map; K = skils; etc etc seemed to work fine. BTW .. F12 opens main bag and closes all, F8 to F11 operate other bag slots .. don't think I saw that posted or mentioned anywhere.

Dunno but that would be sweet. I used autorun, held down left click and just looked, but that would be a lot easier.

Open up the escape menu, choose key bindings, Go into it, and find "look reverse", then bind it to the key you wish.

I set mine to the v key, very easy to hit while running and not an important button. All it does is turn on/off Npc names.

Just a quick thought, if you are gonna change your key config do it before you even start playing, as soon as you log on. This is just some advice from a dummy who waited till he was lvl 15 then decided to change his whole control list. I was like the "retarded mage" for 2 levels, i kept running into groups of mobs and messing up my spell hotkeys lol

You had to bind it.
It was not bound by default, though they said y key was flip around view.

It was pretty cool, for making screenshots too ;)

It is indeed an important tool and it works wonders.

In PvE, since mobs are smart and don't chase you for a million years+1 just click the binded key to see if they've lost interest. It's a lot easier than messing with camera angle to check only to run into another mob :(

In PvP, this is VERY useful especially if you're a human. A racial trait allows you to see stealthed/hidden players in a larger radius. Most rogues sneak up from behind, so flip view gives you that much extra warning.

So to answer, yes it works^^;

Q is the strafe left key by default. I generally don't use WASD for movement, but I find the two strafe keys useful.

Only if you have a history of playing computer-based FPS games. I'm an arrow key junky. Always have been, back since the days of old Id and Apogee shareware where the "control" buttons were ctl and alt, and the arrows were the only movement.

I'm easily adaptable to new key-sets. I can use WASD or the arrow keys or the mouse, or whatever. I remember in UO I used the mouse to move and all my macros were on the F keys and on the number pad...so that's a lot of moving around with my left hand to do stuff, but it was easy. So, I figure I could use the arrow keys with my left hand if I had to, but I like the mouse a lot in WoW and it just feels more comfortable to use WASD to move around with. Just my penny.

Best solution
Get an exterminator digital gamepad !!!
Everything on it is programable with 2 commands/keystokes/mouseclicks.
I never have to touch the keyboard !
Long as you memorize what button/trigger does what same as playing on a console game.

I sit back in my lazyboy chair and play play play.
