Time Card thingsFollow

I couldnt not remember if someone else had posted something about this but i couldnt find it. I was wondering if we will need CCs to play WoW for a few weeks, in some MMORPGs the game cards come out a little while after the game. I dont like using CCs (hate them), so if i can use it as little as possible it would be better, never have liked putting the # online. Also do we get a free month with a regular box (not collecters edition)?, and if so is it the kind of thing where you need to enter a CC or GC # to get the free time , or is it like you can buy the 50$ game and take it home and you can play 1 month before buying anything else?
