Hello, thanks for sharing the great videos. I just was curious though, I never saw a solution to the large "Battlegrounds" video not working. I too get the problem that a proper codec is not found when using WMP10. I have the most recent Divx and XviD codecs too. Thank for any help.

Give me a sec and I'll check the codec on it.

The battlefield movie, the one Princess Diamond Rayna made, is a mpg file with no codec so you should have no problem playing it in WMP10.

Have you tried opening it in anything else?

Bump, I've been having to find posts by you to get here Lamneth, so I thought I'd bump this for ya.

Edit: I met a few people with problems playing the WoW video because of lack of the InterVideo Codec (DA, maybe next time try encoding in Divx? VirtuaDub supports will let you convert the file after you make it.) Anyways. Heres a link to a package with InterVideo codec in it. Codec

Another note. The damned WoW Stand alone video STILL doesn't work right for me in WinAmp (I have every freaking codec you could ever imagine, hehehe) So if you are still having problems play it in windows media player.

it played for me in WMP right away. /shrug. I guess I am just the uberz0rs and your teh suxx0rz or something.

Our video won't work Smiley: cry

I'm still not getting that last line, did you get it to work in WMP?

If not I'll get the codec guy in here to answer some questions.

I've never had any troubles with windows media player. However, do you have WinDvD or WinDvD creator installed (Those programs give you the proper codec when you install them)

I've got the PBJ song stuck in my head now.

It got really bad when people started singing it in teamspeak Smiley: banghead

I should record some of the teamspeak conversations, sometimes they are quite entertaining.

It will work in WMP if you have installed the Bgpop pack. I still get a large green bar when using winamp to play it.

I really suggest you re-encode it in DivX and re-relaease it Lamneth.

Blah divx is for noobs Mpeg 2 is where its at.

At least thats what I'm told, I have no influence on the post production.

DivX is somthing everyone has. So obviously if you use the more common encoding more people will see it, right?
