Yes. When you purchase World of Warcraft, you will get a one-month free trial subscription to the game. yes you need to pay. $15 american a month. online pay or gametime cards at retailers.

You know, if you just go to www.Blizzard.com/wow you could look up all this stuff on fees yourself. It's undeniable proff that there will be fees.
Currently the only MMORPG that does NOT have fees is Guild Wars, but I have mixed feelings on how the game is after playing the World Preview Event a while back.
Actually, Guild wars is More Diablo than MMO.
