Hunter Trait build for PvPFollow

I wanted to ask how to spend trait points for a PvP build. What traits would you use and why?

I myself don't have anything to offer because I have no hunter experience. But here you can probably find good discussion about Pvp templates, and if they've developed it already you can use their talent calculators to try and create your own template the way you want to. You can also view templates that other people have created and submitted (provided its been created for hunters yet, I don't know because of how new their talents are).

There would be 2 different paths to follow. One would give you less offensive, but more defensive abilities.

Offensive would concentrate more on the Markmanship path (with emphasis on the pet health & endurance parts of Beastmastery, since would be using pet to tank).

Defensive would concentrat more on the Survival path (with emphasis on the pet offensive parts of Beastmastery).

The offensive would be more of a team PvPer. Well the defensive would be more solo.

This is just my thought. I'll probably use a Hunter for PvP, but haven't tried it out yet.

For PvP, I don't think enchancing your pet is a viable option. Pets can't taunt players, so you *know* you're going to be taking the damage yourself.

There are basically two ways to go - ranged focus, and melee/trap focus. Ranged focus more depends on getting the drop on your opponent, since if a rogue sneaks up on you, you aren't going to be able to shoot him. I could be waay off here, since I've never read any hunter forums, but I think you'll be better off with a melee build to handle the melee classes. You should be able to handle most ranged classes from a distance regardless.

If you do go marksmanship, wing clip is going to become your best friend.
