ive tried looking through posts and on this website but cant find any info about guilds.

me and alot of friends are swapping over from FFXI and wish to know some info about them cos i cant seem to find any.

can someone explain exactly how they work

i just hope they arent simply another communication device *coughcoughlinkshellcough*

so any info whatsoever (or links) would be greatly appreciated

alrighty here's the deal...there's a feature in WoW that lets you join different chat channels so u could get all of your friends on the same channel and just chat it up and you can switch between channels similar to switching between FF LS. Guilds on the other hand are really just a more structured version of this. The difference though with guilds and LS's is that your guild name appears beneath your name so say when you go on a raid the opposition knows who they're ******** with, and your guild name can gain reputation amongst the players. But anywho yeh your guild can either be wellknown or just be a glorified chatroom...all in what you put into it. Hope this helped.
