You gotta realize when they didn't announce a exact time or day people had to say at the pc for the last 3 day's waiting. Then they go to file planet and after a hour of attempts they get booted and "sorry sign ups are closed" that's allot of time and energy to put into something to end up comming back with nothing.

I don't think anything is worth going to an evercrack game. I have tried the first one and I won't go near the second one. I look at Ultima Online and Evercrack in the same way.

Hey you should really love this:

The World of Warcraft and Open Beta Account Creation sites are temporarily down. We are experiencing technical difficulties on our end and are working diligently to restore service to this site. We apologize for any inconvenience this is causing you. We do not currently have an estimated time for when the World of Warcraft Web site will be back up, but we are working extremely hard to solve these technical difficulties as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Please note that until the World of Warcraft Web site has been restored, any further World of Warcraft updates will be posted on our Battle.net Web site.

Something tells me 90% of blizzard posts from now on will be telling us to be patient and the so and so should be back up shortly. Its mine boggling that after all these game releases no one puts enough effort into getting their stuff working before hand.

Because it's Blizzard's fault that hundreds of thousands of gamers ran straight for the open beta sign up in Fileplanet and WoW's main website and caused both sites to explode. That's logic at work, people! /sarcasm

I didn't get my key and am I angry? Nope. This only means more time with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for me until retail comes along. I find it funny that the keys were taken during my prework nap, though...

Well I've given up hope on starting the download before I head out. At least the key is in my hands, I guess waiting for WoW.com to come back up and downloading it straight from the horses mouth is the best option...

Well it is a fairly graphic front page, so I wouldn't doubt that the page is going to have some serious issues here pretty soon. They REALLY should go to more of a text based system during times such as this to help with overall bandwith breakdowns that they seem to have every single patch or every single time that they have any downtime whatsoever. It makes me sick to my stomach... (yes, I'm unhappy, but not physically ill)

I've been spamming FilePlanet ever since 5 mins from when the Beta came up, and sooner or later I came up with, "There are NO keys left for World of Warcraft! Go to worldofwarcraft.com to get your key there!"

I go there, and guess what?

I mean, come on, you'd think Blizzard would know that they'd get this kind of response after all the hype going towards WoW, but they go ahead and let this happen. It's really pretty pathetic, I've always expected Blizzard to do better than this.
