hello everyone, i think everyone will agree that this has been one of the most exciting months in a long long while. and i have to say im loving every minute of it! anyways i have a few questions for you all.

1)im on the east coast, but my guild is probably going to be on the west coast servers. is there going to be a difference in my lag and overall performance if i should choose to play on the west coast server?
2)alot of the info im getting on druids is pointing to the fact that feral forms become inferior as you gain more levels(at least pertaining to pvp) what do you guys think about this, and do you think blizzard will tweak this before final release?
3)the stress test and open beta characters will be erased for release right?
4)will talent points be awarded after lvl 60 or will you use what you get till then and thats it?

anyways thanks for reading,

1) I don't think there will be a problem when it comes to lag if you switch to west coast. The onlything that will be different will be the times you will be able to contact a GM or deal with events (which I assume will be time based) Personally, I wouldn't worry.

2) That's up to you as the player if you want to use animal forms at higher levels. Personally I feel that animal forms are hella helpful in all fronts, especially when it comes to filling a slot for a certain role. Keep your animal skills up and bring various equipment to help make you stats work for what you need it for and you'll find all is well.

The only reason that I can find to discourage you from using animal forms will be the fact that players will rather have you as a healer then a warrior/rogue. Personally I feel if the skills are there, use them. Blizzard made all abilities to have their uses so just try to work with them.

Redmoonxl tackled 1 and 2, I guess that means I get 3 and 4.

3) Supposedly, yes, there will be a wipe. For some reason Blizzard insists on being ambiguous, and they keep opening threads that argue this point, but in theory yes, there'll be a wipe. Most people seem to support the idea.

4) Nope, no additional talent points after you hit 60. There's a deliberate reason for this. Notice that, with 51 talent points, you don't have enough for a top-tier "new ability" talent AND a tier 5 "new ability" talent. You also don't have enough to get a tier 7 new ability and both tier 3 new abilities. Blizzard planned this out specifically for this reason. So no, no additional talent points post-60.

Though, now that I think about it, that would be a kick-butt special ability on a red- or orange-level item...

i think that would be a great award for some of the high level raids and instanced mobs and dungeons
say for instance there are several special "forges" that with the right super hard to find items you could create one time use items that granted extra talent points. to make it even more fun these "forges" would only be able to be used by the controlling group maybe alliance vs. horde kinduv thing. you could only use that one if you took it over, and of course the items would only be dropped by the hardest mobs in the game. i dought it will ever happen but its a thought
