I had just gotten home from a three hour basketball practice for my high school. We had to bear crawl the court many times and ,as a result, I was tired as hell. I had gotten home, taken a shower, eaten my favorite dinner, and did my routine check of FilePlanet, and Allakhazam. I nearly crapped my pants in surprise. After all these months of waiting open beta pops ,literally, out of nowhere. I signed up for the open beta and I'm awaiting my email containing what I need to start. This weekend can't come fast enough.
What were you doing when you saw this? What was your reaction?

actually i pretty much expected it. the offical server was down and i kept checkinkg it and when it came up everything was good in the world. whell it was then we alls tarted downloading it illegaly or some crap. then they made us do this file plannet stuff. and whell i started at 2:30 and its 9:00 now and i still havent got the DL from file plannet even started.
I had just gotten back from Classical Political Philosophy. As a ritual, I went around to WoW.com and I noticed the site was taking longer than usual to load. Then I noticed that the artwork and proportions had changed. And then I noticed a little blurb off to the side: "Download the client now!"
I didn't get straight what it all meant until a bit later, but that was when I knew: it's on, now.

I had just awaken from a nap I took after my final class of the afternoon let out, there was a cat on my lap and I was contemplating how I am going to entertain myself for the remainder of the evening, the Guild Wars preview having ended.
So the whole night I have been hitting refresh at Fileplanet waiting for my subscription to activate, and now my keys.
My reaction? I was pissed that I had slept instead of signing up, and then I was afraid that I had missed it, or been too late.
I'm happy now, though.

I was at work! I was thinkng OMG I'm gonna miss it cause I'm at work, SOFB!!! Luckily however, we had WAY to many people at work today, and I was asked if I wanted to leave 1.5 hrs early.
I safely "sped" home, hoping the client would download faster than I had been reading about all morning. Alas I got up to 100+kbps and then down to like 2 ><.
Then further reading suggested file planet, so of course like the billions of others going there I did as well. When I finally was able to get some sort of "conformation" email, I was hoping that I wasn't too low on the list to get in, and hadn't jsut wasted 15 bucks.
Turns out, now I'm just waiting on my Key and the link to the client. I swear I'll be up all freakin night so I can play even 2 seconds before I pass the hell out.
